About this mod

Within this Beautiful Sword lies a very dark power... are you willing to unleash this awesome power on the Commonwealth?

Requirements
Permissions and credits
“Svikja Andlat” (Old Norse) translated it means “Betray Death” that is the creed of this new sword which is etched into the blade.

In the very early morning hours I released this picture hinting at this mod to come, what you didn't know is that 10 seconds prior to taking that picture that Deathclaw was dead...

Things are about to get interesting…

REASONS!!!
Did you ever want a truly badass unique melee weapon?

Ever want the power to raise enemies from the dead?  But not just simply that… oh no… *evil laugh*

How about the ability to make them fight on your side after you raise them from the dead as well?

Or you know, just a Melee weapon that looks really badass along with The Black Widow Armor by Deserter X (nsk13)?

I bring to you a one of a kind Necromancy Sword “Necroz – The Death Betrayer”!

EXAMPLE PICTURE!!!
Fully Retextured, and Shiny!

VIDEO!!!
Thank You to AlChestBreach for the video.  Necroz is the very first mod that he covers in this video, and it shows him bringing Ghouls back to life that fight on his side against other Ghouls.

MOD INFORMATION!!!

Frist off, this Sword shares a model with “Regent – Standalone Sword” by billyro (which yes, I used with permission from him).  I scaled the model down a bit, so it does not use the Regent model.

Second off, if you do not like the effect on this weapon then “GOOD NEWS” I have made one that does not have the effect on it as well (named “Necroz – The Death Granter”).  Both of these weapons are fully craftable at any Chem station under the “NECROZ” category.  The one without the effect has higher base damage by a small margin to compensate for lack of a Resurrection Effect.

I retextured it on all areas (diffuse, normal, and smooth), and gave it an optional glow map (getting to that), and I gave each of these weapons their own mods.

To craft the Swords themselves you need a bit of resources and Blacksmith 3 for “Necroz – The Death Granter”, and Blacksmith 3 and Life Giver 3 for the “Necroz – The Death Betrayer”.

I have included 30 mods, 2 new Attach Points (15 for each weapon although they do the same thing).

Glow Style Attach Point: (Very dim blade only glow, not seeable in sunlight, they all require no perks)
No Glow
Dark Red Glow
Dark Green Glow
Dark Blue Glow
Dark Violet Glow
Dark Orange Glow
Dark Yellow Glow
White Glow

Hilt Insert Attach Point: (Requires from Blacksmith 3 to Blacksmith 3 and Science 3 to make)
Standard Inserts
Aluminum Inserts
Lead Inserts
Gold Inserts
Molten Glass Inserts
Liquid Nitrogen Inserts
Spark Plug Inserts

If you have the Death Betrayer, then the res effects will still persist even if you add a mod that does elemental damage.

****I will say this a few times and sticky it as well, I made this mod unusable on Ashpiles and GooPiles, unfortunately no such way can be prevented from using it on completely dismembered corpses.  Do not do this, you might see a pair of eyes floating in the air but stuff can glitch and they always will try to drag everything around with them when they move (head, limbs, viscera, etc.).  You can of course fix this easily by killing them again.

The resurrected bodies are not considered your companions, so they will not travel with you and only fight in that general area (this was done on purpose), but better yet any companion of yours that happens to be with you will not get angry if you murder them.  So if you don’t want them anymore murder away!

The Death Betrayer will work instantly if you get a kill shot on anything with it.

The Death Betrayer is set to not dismember; the Death Granter is set to dismember.

Occasionally, because this mod does not change the way the NPCs that you res actually think (it works based on factions), if you res multiple enemies they might start fighting amongst each other.  It is amusing regardless.

I will include the source file, that I wrote to create this mod in the optional downloads.

KNOWN BUGS!!!
Do not res corpses that have multiple body parts cut off, they will drag those parts with them when they move in some sort of glitchy mess, they will still fight like normal though.

Do not res completely dismembered corpses, floating eyeballs will persist and just all kinds off glitchy messy goodness, they will still fight like normal though.

Do not res one enemy multiple times in fast succession, I have run into a bug where instead of moving they just sort of float when they move.
Just remember above all else, no one cares if they live or die, they are your battle minions after all.

With that said all of these bugs can be easily fixed by peeling a few caps in their general direction.

INSTALLATION!!!
I recommend using Nexus Mod Manager (NMM), then activating the appropriate plugin.

Otherwise, copy all the stuff in the mods Data folder in the games Data folder and activate the esp file.

Then go craft it at any chem station.
