Teleporting around with Blitz is fun at all, but not very immersive. This is a very simple tweak to reduce the Blitz distance in VATS. Blitz1 dsitance multyplier reduced from 2 to 1.5 and Blitz2 distance multiplier reduced from 3 to 2.
