THis is great for an Enclave/Brotherhood character of mine thats starting to question her loyalty to her Superiors. I hope add more player homes Quaz30. I'll be looking forward to more if and when you come back.
this home is more like a prop rather then someone living in it. its good for YouTube short movies as a background but you can't scrap much. even if you do scrap some stuff you end up with floating bits and pieces. Its a really nice home to look at and check it out but.. not to keep.
If you are like me using a custom HQ pipboy map this mod might completely mess up all the location markers - absolute no-go. Also it eats your framerate like crazy. Cannot recommend to use it.
While this is 90% fantastic, the 10% is really problematic. The bedroom is far too small, and yes, I also had to jump just to get in, then grew worried I wouldn't be able to get out. The rooftop pool also looks great until you get in, then everything clips out of existence and I fell through to a ledge below.
And yes, there really was a noticeable framerate drop just going up the ramp to the front door...which becomes an incredibly wide double door once inside. Why?
I'll assume, though, that we'll never see any fixes because Quaz30 has spent the last 2 years just adding friends.
Things I like from this apartment: 1. Location. 2. Rooftop. 3. Bathroom. 4. Workbench.
Things I don't like: 1. Bedroom (The magazine and the gun in the bed... decor, ok?, why I cannot remove it?) 2. Bedroom really small (Sometimes I have problems trying to get out of the room) 3. Too many small peaces around the apartment make it quite difficult to move. 4. I can't use the Power Armor Station (I tried to claim the settlement, but It is impossible).
This is more of a nit to pick than a real problem or malfunction. When I am in the home, I find that the ambient music is still that of being out in the street of Boston, which is the eerie "I'm about to get nommed by a super mutant" ambience, rather than some music that is a bit more neutral or relaxing, the likes of which one can experience in other settlements. On the rooftop, the outdoor music is fine, but indoors it kinda makes the space feel anxious. That and I can't get into the bedroom without jumping, so its a bit cramped along the right hand side of the bed when I walk in the door.
This is a beautiful and well done mod, I notice all your little details and touches to make it feel like the timeline in its days of glory. This is for those players who want somewhere to rest and relax, sort and store you gear, a place you feel safe in. Its a happy mod with real life in mine in a very hard and dirty world where the dust and grim sadness has its prize. Kudos and Endorsement given a long time ago! Or disable it, and use a bed that fits
Ditto on doors and small objects that cannot be scrapped
