I can't seem to get these to work. I can't plug them up to conduits and they don't receive power passively. I looked through xEdit but couldn't find anything that would be conflicting. I'm at a loss.
Want to put a fully-functional terminal on a desk?
You need this mod!
There are loads of terminal choices, some with animated (as in, even when you're not using them, code will seem to scroll down) screens and some not, some beaten-up, some factory-fresh, some wall-mounted, some free-standing. They're functional (if blank). You can slap one on your desk, slot Red Menace in, and play it!
It's a simple but hugely welcome addition, and I won't play without it!
Been wanting to use these for a while but I can't quite figure out if they work with machines - like, can I hook it up to Manufacturing stuff or turrets?
Edit: Whoops. Right there in the description. In that case, hope it eventually gets an update to interface with the rest of the stuff!
I know it's been a while since there's even been a comment on this mod, but any chance you might be able to add the other terminal-like computer parts from fallout to this? kinda like the parts attached alongside the blue built-in terminals and such? or like the radio parts in Travis' trailer? love the mod, thanks!
You know what? I'm wondering why I haven't found this mod earlier... And I have been searching for a good working terminal mod for like 3 months. Never came across yours. I found it by accident by going to your profile searching what else you might have. And I came up with a suggestion. Would you mind changing the mods name a little Ethreon? To Wasteland Computer Terminals? I typed a countless times the word "terminal" in the search field and never found your mod. I bet it would gain some endorsements. And I have a little problem that I am struggling to resolve but I checked everything and run out of ideas. Maybe you could help. I know this is a compatibility issue for sure. The problem is i installed your mod and everything was fine (lovely animation for my office terminal! ) but after some time I fast travelled from Sanctuary (that's where the terminal is) to Diamond City and back and found a blinking pink screen like a missing texture. Now the funny part: -Vanilla workshop terminal and VT Management system unaffected -Your consoles, wall terminals unaffected and wall terminals from http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/18724/? -Animated and unanimated terminals from your and above mod affected -Videos of the Wasteland TVs affected Tell me if you need i'll post my load order. I hope you can come up with something. If not thanks for a great mod and I'll live with it so no pressure :-)
I suggest using google for your nexus searches until they launch the revamp. Onsite search has been unreliable for years.

About your issue - I am using custom entries for these, and to some point, custom models with some snap points. The only way issues can arise is if someone overwrites the default textures used in the terminal meshes - exterior, keyboard, screen and animated screen. As I'm not familiar with any of the works of those mods, you'd need to find out if any of them affect terminal used textures.
Well this is my personal bad habit then (using site search). But thanks i'll use google then. You are just the best! You know I checked all the nif files for terminals that I used and found that they use the same materials. And it's true I used keyboard textures and Vacant Terminal mod in the past and thanks to you I found out that NMM didn't delete all textures.
Great mod! Was looking for something that would let me make my own institute terminals. Only one complaint. The institute terminal screens are kinda messed up a lil. Like some stuff is off screen basically.
Omigawd, this is what I was searching for-fucking-ever! The Vanilla Terminal is an optical nightmare and I could not understand why there where none of the terminals you find in every flippin' Rad-Roach-hole! Thank you so much! And it doesn't even need the painful wiring!

I am continually surprised by this mods longevity.
