About this mod

A replacer for the Classical Radio station themed specifically for FROST

Emergency Broadcast
A FROST themed Radio Station

When playing FROST, I had a hard time finding a radio station to listen to. The Travis silencers don't work terribly well, and I'm not a fan of most of the radio stations on the nexus since they usually have unfittingly zany hosts, which might work well in vanilla, but doesn't fit FROST's desolate and bleak atmosphere. So I took it upon myself to make a radio station that replaces the classical station in vanilla. The WMBR Emergency Broadcast is based off of the real world WMBR station; the MIT student radio station. The idea is that a precursor to the institute, hunkered beneath the ruins of MIT, is broadcasting a simple selection of songs on hand, as well as emergency signals. The only connection the songs have is that they're typically slower paced, to fit the somber quiet atmosphere of FROST. Currently, this station is only FROST themed, as some of the songs specifically reference cold and snow, but I plan on uploading a more vanilla friendly version soon.

The songs included are

Andrews Sisters - I'll be with you in Apple Blossom Time

Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong - I've got my Love to keep Me Warm

Betty Hutton - Blue Skies

Billie Holiday - All of Me

Billie Holiday - I Cover the Waterfront

Bing Crosby - I've got Plenty to be Thankful For

Django Reinhardt - Body and Soul

Chuck Berry - C'est L'Avie

Chuck Berry - Johnny B Good

Dinah Shore - Dear Hearts and Gentle People

Dinah Shore - It's so nice to have a Man around the House

Dinah Shore - See the USA in your Chevrolet

Pied Pipers - Dream

Frank Sinatra - It's so nice to go Travelin'

Wanda Jackson - Hardheaded Woman

Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye - Snow

Les Paul and Mary Ford - Tennessee Waltz

Les Paul and Mary Ford - The World is Waiting for the Sunrise

Margaret Whiting and Johnny Mercer - Baby It's Cold Outside

Ella Fitzgerald - Stormy Weather

The Inkspots - Address Unknown

The Inkspots - Bless You for being an Angel

Vera Lynn - The White Cliffs of Dover

Crown City Four - Watch World War III on Pay TV

Danny Kaye and Bing Crosby - I wish I was back in the Army

Also included are
two morse code signals AND
two actual recordings that were to have been broadcast in the 1960s in the event of nuclear attack on US soil.

As a final note, you may hear songs repeat, but that's an issue with the vanilla classical music station. This mod is just a replacement for it, so the base scripting is the same.
