Have you heard of a tarberry before?
Having grown up in New England, I certainly have not. It seems to me that this is a simple oversight by game designers that just didn't know Boston IRL. (or at least that's what I thought after a couple glasses of wine, a belly full of turkey, and shlorp of cranberry sauce)
Let me fix that for ya...
This mod is just a simple retex of tarberries. I'm ok with "tarberries" being an incorrect name for cranberries (for now). Sorta fits with the type of distortion of history that you get from Moe Cronin. And cranberries don't actually grow underwater the way tarberries do, so maybe they're something that just evolved from cranberries.
Either way, I find red tarberries more immersive. And I hope you do to!
Installation:
WARNING Folks have reported issues installing this with NMM. Just manually drop the files in the appropriate folder (Fallout 4\Data\textures\Landscape\Plants) and you're done.
