The reason given by the author is: I boggles my mind to think of WHY this could be, but these *TEXTURES* actually cause CTD's after the last patch ffs!
I do not know if I will ever feel motivated to figure out WTF could have "changed", as I find Fallout 4 to have virtually ZERO replay value - sorry...
