Taylor
The 100 Percent Savegame

Introduction

'Taylor' is the female character of my second, vanilla playthrough including all six official DLCs. This savegame is the result of 331 hours playtime, in which I not only played through the main quest and all side quests I could find, I also prepared this savegame so that it is a little more 'interesting', details will follow down below.

Motivation and some more details

This savegame started as a normal playthrough, which I wanted to do on the new Survival difficulty with all official DLCs enabled. The new Survival difficulty, which was introduced in version 1.5.157, definitely intensifies the experience while playing Fallout 4, one has to learn to plan ahead and to always be fully stocked before wandering in a new direction, especially in the beginning of the game. That playthrough lasted for about 232 hours and at that point I had beaten the game, done most of the quests there are and visited 99 % of all locations in the game. It was then that I decided to polish that savegame a little more, make sure that I've seen everything there is and in general, to create something others might find useful.

The first change that needed to be done at that point, was to switch the difficulty from 'Survival' to 'Very Hard'. I had beaten pretty much the entire game, so there was no real need for Survival anymore, plus with 'Very Hard' indefinitely many savegames can be created and the old ones will not be automatically terminated as it is with 'Survival'.

Now, at a total of 331 hours in game and Fallout 4 being patched to version 1.7.22, I am able to present you 'Taylor - The 100 Percent Savegame'.

Factions and Decisions

  • All settlements have been unlocked for the Minutemen.
  • The Brotherhood of Steel destroyed the Railroad and the Institute.
  • The Mechanist (alias Isabel Cruz) was spared and could live on.
  • The conflict between Far Harbor, the Children of Atom and Acadia was first resolved peacefully and Kasumi Nakano was saved and brought back home. Ultimately the Brotherhood of Steel destroyed Acadia.
  • In Nuka-World, all five park zones have been taken over and power has been restored. All raiders have lost their lifes during 'Open Season' and the Traders are once again free.

In General, Taylor doesn't really despise Synths. But when it comes down to Synths, which did harm innocent humans at some point, then - in their current state - they are not much more than simple killing machines, with no value in their artifical intelligence. It would be different, if they would not only look and behave (and age) like humans, but also would be able to feel physical pain and if it would be impossible to 'program' them.

Companions

To quote the wiki on 'Affinity':
Typically, all companions begin at an affinity value of 0. If the affinity value reaches 500, they will "admire" the Sole Survivor and often reveal new dialogue. Raising their affinity to 1000+ (max is 1100) will result in them "idolizing" the Sole Survivor, at which point the Sole Survivor are granted their companion perk.

I've checked the current Affinity value for all companions with the following console command: getav CA_Affinity
Here is an overview regarding the companions in this savegame:

Deacon and Porter Gage are no longer because they both stood in the way of Taylor. Porter Gage was prior to his death tricked into believing that Taylor was his friend, but that was only a scheme until the right point had come to overthrow the raiders in Nuka-World. Taylor also has no interest in finding the milk of human kindness for Strong; his dislike for the usage of Power Armor is against her believes.

On the bright side, Taylor helped Curie with her transformation from a Miss Nanny robot into a Synth. Paladin Danse is still alive and kicking, but the relationship to him hasn't been developed to it's full potential yet.

Settlements

As said above, all settlements are under the player's control and most of them are fully built up aswell. What all settlements have in common is that they have at least a value of 100 for available Power.

I also managed that the settlement 'Sunshine Tidings Co-op' has reached a happiness of 100. That value should be at around 99 % in the savegame .. so it might be that by using this savegame, that you automatically get the corresponding Steam achievement, or if not, it shouldn't be too hard to get it.

In any case, in Sanctuary Hills I've done something to show off a few collectables, more down below (and more screenshots are to be found in the 'IMAGES' tab).

Weapon Gallery

24 short weapon racks, 68 long weapon racks and 11 heavy weapon stands .. all filled with different and partly unique weapons. Even more weapons are stored in the Workshop.

Armor & Clothing Gallery

Using 125 armor racks (male and female) I display a lot of different armor and clothing, including all versions of an armor set (Standard/Sturdy/Heavy). You might want to check each armor rack individually, as some hold multiple items.

Power Armor Gallery

26 fully upgraded Power Armor, including all variants of Power Armor and all Paint Jobs. All unique Power Armor pieces have been found aswell (with, unfortunately, the one exception of the unique chest piece Exemplar's T-60c).

Comic Book Store

On 19 magazine racks all magazines can be bought for only 0 bottlecaps! Meaning, grab 'em and read 'em.

Bobblehead Stand

Of course there is also a Bobblehead Stand with all the Bobbleheads.

Level 4 Merchants

Last but not least, all 8 "Level 4 Merchants" have been found and sent to Sanctuary Hills. (Readme)

Requirements and Installation:

To be able to use this savegame, you need to have all six official DLCs installed alongside the base game. So the DLCs you need are:
Automatron
Wasteland Workshop
Far Harbor
Contraptions Workshop
Vault-Tec Workshop
Nuka-World

If even one of the DLCs is missing from your game, this savegame will unfortunately not work correctly. Use LOOT for load order sorting.

To install this savegame, extract the archive and copy the file "Save_Taylor_100_03.fos" inside your C:\Users\<USER>\Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Saves folder. The next time you start Fallout 4 you should see the savegame under "LOAD" (it should still be called "Commonwealth").

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q. Why do I want to use a 100 percent savegame?

A. That depends. Some people may just be interested in seeing a vanilla endgame character and all the perks, weapons, et cetera that come along with it. Another great use for such a savegame is to test out mods. No location where the enemies are too strong, all the collectables at hand, all settlements have been build up at least to a certain degree (if not fully) and all workshop items have been unlocked (minus the ones which were only temporarily available). You can jump in and do what you like.

Q. Where did you get Armor X and Weapon Y from?

A. Please use the Fallout Wiki first before asking. It is a great source of information!

Q. I'm using X mods / mod Y .. will this work with my modded setup?

A. Your modded setup will 'probably' work, but there is no definitive answer for this question, as 'mods' are always third-party and of varying quality. As long as you have all official DLCs installed and activated, you should be good to go .. let me know what your experience is.

Q. What is Taylor wearing in those Screenshots?

A. Black Ops Chestpiece *, Black Ops Right Shinguard *, Powered Polymer Combat Armor Left Leg *, Ultra-Light Polymer Combat Armor Right Arm, Ultra-Light Shadowed Combat Armor Left Arm, Gunner Flannel Shirt and Jeans, Sunglasses

Q. Why is there a male armor rack with an empty inventar in the Armor & Clothing Gallery?

A. That's where I originally put the Black Ops Armor.

Q. You probably used console commands to get all that stuff, right?

A. No and Yes. The first 232 hours I played this playthrough on Survival difficulty, which meant 1) no fast travel and 2) no console and therefore no console commands. After I changed the difficulty to Very Hard, I used a couple of player.additem commands, but I'd say more than 97 percent was acquired the normal way - manually. Whenever I could do it the old fashioned way, I did.

Q. What's up with the people of Bunker Hill, why are they crouching all the time?

A. It appears that I've encountered a certain bug that occurs during the quest "Battle of Bunker Hill". Here in the section 'Bugs' is noted the following:
"If you respond negatively to Father at the end of this quest and get expelled from The Institute, the named settlers in Bunker Hill may be stuck permanently cowering. It is possible to fix this with the console command stopquest ef21c and then fast-traveling or sleeping.[verification overdue]"
- Until now I haven't tried this out, I may do in future. Does anyone have further knowledge on this?

Q. Why do all the traders in the market area of Nuka-World wear no clothes?

A. This might be another bug, I'm not entirely sure. On the positive side, they no longer wear their collars.

Q. About those Freefall legs .. how did you get those?

A. By using the intended way .. exploiting the physics engine.

Q. Taylor is infected with the molerat disease, which can't be cured by a doctor. What can I do to change that?

A. Open the console, type in the following (without brackets): "player.additem 00055f10 1" - This will add the cure for the molerat disease to your inventory.

Q. I don't like the looks of Taylor very much, what can I do?

A. I've built a barber chair and a surgery chair in Sunshine Tidings Co-op, use those to change her appearance.

Q. I get quite the frame drops in certain areas of Sanctuary Hills. Why is that and what can I do about it?

A. This is a direct result of maxing out the settlement building limit for Sanctuary Hills the way I did. I display lots and lots of weapons, armor, power armor and magazines and so it is my guess that this pushes the Fallout 4 engine very much. Of course a better PC would be helpful, otherwise optimizing the textures of Fallout 4 could be an option (like it is possible with for example DDSopt for Skyrim).

You also could scrap all the lights I've build inside the different buildings, if not the complete buildings, and store everything back into the Workshop .. that would solve the problem. But I'm not going to do that, as I like Sanctuary Hills as it is now.

Conclusion:

Thanks for reading all the way through to the end, I hope you like what I've done. If you have any further suggestions as to how this could be further improved - or if you find something I forgot or missed - please let me know.
