QUICK OVERVIEW
This mod allowes recon scopes to be mounted on all weapons that originally come with scope options.
DETAILS
Bethesda added some cool wepons with the DLCs but somehow forgot about recon scopes! This mod fixes that! It comes in 2 files (one for each DLC) and gives you recon scope options for the following guns:
Far Harbor:
- Radium Rifle (replaces short and long night vision scopes)
- Harpoon Gun (replaces the short scope)
- Lever-action Rifle (replaces short and long night vision scopes)
Nuka World:
- Handmade Rifle (replaces short and long night vision scopes)
- Alien Blaser (replaces the night vision scope, also affects the base game weapon)
- Western Revolver (replaces the short scope)
INSTALLATION
- Unpack the rar file.
- Drop the recon-scope-on-all-farharbor.esp file into your Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout 4\Data directory if you have the Far Harbor DLC.
- Do the same with recon-scope-on-all-nukaworld.esp if you have the Nuka World DLC.
- Do not worry about load order. It does not matter which esp file loads first, they are totally separate mods.
- Inside the game, go to Mods>Load Order and enable the mod(s).
UNINSTALLATION
Remove the esp file(s).
This mod is completely save to remove regardless of what you did ingame. The scopes will revert back to being normal or night vision ones.
CONFLICT AND EDIT INFO
Any mod that edits scopes may conflict.
The only thing this mod REMOVES is the dn_HasScope_NightVision keyword from some scopes. Everything is is either an edit, addition or rename.
LICENSE
Anyone may re-upload this mod anywhere, or use it as a base for their own mod. Giving credit would be nice, though.
