About this mod
A save file with lots of pre-built settlements (including Vault 88), no main storyline factions met, and no quests completed except for Nuka World. This is basically my master save before going on Survival. Note: Save has issues with big monsters and such. This save is now mostly only useful for the blueprints and other tools.
- Permissions and credits
Note 2: I ran the save recently (q4 2023) with the A Storywealth mod collection installed and it's running flawlessly, with framerate even better than a totally new game. It seems the issues happening before were due to lack of Baka Scrapheap, Buffout 4, etc because at level 136 enemies spawn in large enough numbers that the stock game sometimes can't handle it. If you want a nice starting savegame for a Nuka Raider playthrough (or a very challenging Open Season), this save should serve you well.
A save file with lots of pre-built settlements (including Vault 88), no main storyline factions met, and no quests completed except for Nuka World and the main story up to the point where you have to decide between factions. This is basically my master save before going on Survival.
This save is 4th in a series:
1. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/18128/? (settlements only acquired, nothing built)
2. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/18158/? (Empty Pre-Built Vault 88 added, i.e. only atrium pieces, power and signage)
3. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/18221/? (Vault 88 filled up a little, i.e. beds, containers, decorations)
4. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/18517/? (This save. All settlements built up and ready to support Survivor play)

Fine Print
- You need to have bought all the DLCs to use this save
- Console commands were used in making this, but all cheaty and moddy aspects were removed before publishing the save file.
- You can safely use this save game without affecting your other save games as long as your character is not called Nate and you make sure to not overwrite them.
- The player's level is 136 so it might make everything too easy, but you can increase the game's difficulty to counteract that. The player has very few legendary items because no quests.
- Most settlements have their size limit increased by console commands
- Far Harbor settlements, Bunker Hill, and Automatron settlements have not been acquired. Everything else has been.
- These settlements are raider vassals: Murkwater, Greentop, The Slog, Warwick, Tenpines, Graygarden, Finch
- These settlements are owned by the player and mainly used for farming food/water using robots. They're connected by supply lines and have one supply line going to a raider outpost: Sanctuary, Castle, Red Rocket, Egret.
- All other settlements are raider outposts and are fully constructed for the most part.
- Almost all settlements have an elevator going up to their height limit and shack foundations covering shitty ground, and enough defense to cover their food + water production.
- All settlements have a covered comfy bed, decontamination arch, and a full set of vault gym equipment for stat boosts.
- All settlements have 30+ beds.
- Enemy spawn points at each settlement have turrets + lighting near them.
- Spectacle Island is a giant showroom.
- Starlight is a cage arena where you can farm Deathclaws from Carrots (Carrot->Radstag->Yao Guai->Deathclaw).
- Somerville is optimized for fertilizer production.
- Coastal Cottage is full of lookout points for nearby scenery.
- County Crossing is a Deathclaw petting zoo.
- Vault 88 is the player's home settlement. Atrium pieces are in every nook and corner except for the two exit areas.
- Red Rocket is the only completely empty settlement.
- The player character is male and has the default appearance.
How To Install
Move the attached file ( Save27_3F9D1231M4E617465_DLC06VaultWorkshop_051135_20160917185529_136_2.fos ) to
C:\Users\MYUSERNAME\Documents\My games\Fallout4
(Your username instead of MYUSERNAME)
That's it. Super simple.
The save should show up as Nate or Nate [Modded] in your character list. The save was made in Vault 88 in front of a giant nuka cola bottle, so that's what you'll see in the save's screenshot.
Mods were removed and the effects of console commands were undone before I made the save but these are the mods and load order in case you need it:
Old World Radio (with crafting options)
More Where That Came From (extended edition iirc)
Valdacil's Item Sorting (some items have been renamed because of this)
ALL DLC Building independent patch - Vault Tec Workshop (it's the mod that lets you see DLC construction options in a separate menu)
Survival Quick Save - No Sleep Till Bedtime
Extras
Also contains the following two folders that are not related to the savegame. These 2 folders are optional and you only need to copy the .fos file in order to run the save.
1. Screenshots: just some screenshots of the save. Useful if you ever find the zip file somewhere and are wondering what's in the save.
2. Cheats: A bunch of bat files that you can copy into your Fallout4 game directory (SteamApps\common\Fallout 4) and use from the console to cheat in the game/make things convenient. Some of them require clicking on an npc/object before calling the bat file. For example, to increase a settlement's build limit, go to the workbench, open console with '~', click on the workbench, and type 'bat increaselimit'. Another example: to give some clothes and a gattling laser to an npc, open console, click on npc, and type 'bat giveclothes'.
Full listing of the cheats:
givedogmeat.txt : send dogmeat to player
givegage.txt : send porter gage to player
givenick.txt : send nick to player
gohome.txt : send player to codsworth
givepiper.txt : send piper to player
giveshank.txt : send shank to player
giveclothes.txt : gives a smaller set of clothes and a gattling laser with ammo to selected NPC
giveammo.txt : give 10 of each ammo type to selected NPC
givefood.txt : give food+drugs to selected NPC
givefireworks.txt : give all types of non-weather firework shells to selected Firework Mortar/NPC
increaselimit.txt : increase the building size limit for selected workbench
superincreaselimit.txt : when shit gets real and increaselimit.txt is not enough
giveworkbenches.txt: put all types of crafting workbenches (weapons, food, etc) at the player's current location. Only do this inside a settlement or you'll get trapped inside them.
giveresources.txt : give 5000 of each junk resource type to player
givecaps.txt : give 1000 caps to player
givepicketfences.txt : give all picket fences magazines to player (settlement decorations)
givehotrodders.txt : give all hotrodder magazines to player (power armor paintjobs)
givepowerarmor.txt : give one T-60 jetpacked power armor at the current location. You can edit this file to change which type of power armor to give. It's got a whole list of power armor types. Make sure you're looking straight ahead when doing this or you won't be able to use the power armor.
givefactionarmorpaintjobs.txt : give ability to craft all faction armor paint jobs on power armor, combat armor and even ballistic weave
givenukacola.txt : give a shitton of nuka cola victory+wild to player.
fixcompanion.txt : If a companion/npc becomes completely unresponsive, try this after selecting them using console. If that doesn't work, try my original (afaik) solution: "disable" the NPC, spawn a clone of them using "player.placeatme <baseid>", interact with the clone, "disable" the clone, and then re-enable the NPC by "<refid>.enable"
ownsettlement.txt : Make selected workbench allied with you. If for some reason you get un-allied with a settlement, you can retake the settlement using this. Might have to fast travel in and out to make it work.
givearmorstation.txt : provide a fancy power armor station (the rounded one that you often find near NPCs) at the current location. It won't be movable using workbench and won't share resources with the settlement so it's kinda useless, but it does look good. Make sure you're seeing straight in front of you when using this or the power armor station will spawn tilted. You can select the power armor station using console and remove it using "disable" if it spawns at a weird angle.
giveillegalworkshop.txt : provide a workbench at your current non-settlement location. If it says "remove enemies from location", type "killall" in console. Just like the rounded power armor station, be careful of your orientation and remove the workbench using "disable" if you need to.
giveclothesplus.txt : give a number of fake legendaries and special outfits to selected NPC
equipclothes.txt : equip man clothes (after giving using giveclothesplus.txt) on selected NPC
equipclotheswoman.txt : equip woman clothes (after giving using giveclothesplus.txt) on selected NPC. (need to re-open console after giving clothes to do this. clothes equipped this way might not stick to them)
carrymore.txt : increase player's carrying capacity by 1000
Why am I doing this?
For my own use in the future. I'm going to get bored of Fallout 4 and uninstall it soon, only to realize a month later that I miss it, and don't wanna redo all the googling and constructing when that happens.
Looking to Export Settlements between Saves?
There's a mod for it now: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22442/?
