This mod replaces the surgical mask's texture with a Guy Fawkes from "V for Vendetta" oriented one.
If the fabric version appears a bit blurry, then it's 'cause it is intended to be, because it's
made of fabric and I used to make it look like it's a product of the PostApo world. Let's see how it evolves. ;)
If you didn't find the mask yet and don't know how to find it, use the console to add it.
Open it up and type in: player.additem 000787DA 1
Fabric mask version.
Bloodstainted version.
Plastic mask version. [Update I]
+ Face Tattoo version. [Update II]
If you've never installed a texture mod, start with step I, else head to step III:
Go to your document file directory (C:\Users\Username\Documents\My Games\Fallout4)
Open Fallout4.ini and look for a line under [Archive], called "sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\"
and change it to: "sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, TEXTURES\".
Extract and paste the "data" folder into the Fallout 4 install directory.
(Usually you won't be asked if you want to overwrite a file, except you have another flag mod installed.)
Attention: The "face tattoo version" requires a "Taboo Tattoo" magazine to be
selectable ingame. (Read more below @ "Update II")
22.11.2015 (Update I) - Added the original, plastic mask part. (Looks lesser hand made now)
From now on we have a more original looking version of Guy Fawkes most famous hallmark. As you can see, I used makeup to complete the look for this version. There are two vanilla face paintings I used: First a white forehead/eye section dye, then one of the paintings that adds black contures of eyebrows again.
As this is still in developement perhaps we'll have an entire face painting version any time soon.
23.11.2015 (Update II) - Added the face tattoo version.
Includes black eyes as a relpacement for the dark grey eyes version. As this time I chose to play a female character, I haven't had the time to test it on male char's faces, so if you recognize any problems with the texture as male, tell me or hand me screenshots.
Two steps to get to that look:
- You will need the "Taboo Tattoos vol. 13" to get ingame access to this texture replacement. (See screenshot) The console command to add this to your inventory is "player.additem 00184D9B 1".
- Visit the "Mega Surgery Center" in Diamond City and order a facial reconstruction. Doing that, you should change eye color to dark grey also, because it has been modified to a black version for a better look in combination with the mask-tattoo. Et voila, done ;)

Known cases:
Tattoo version - sometimes it may appear, that you cannot have a preview of the tattoo while in facial reconstruction with the doc, but if so don't panic, usually the tattoo will be visible after finishing the facial op.
