commonWealth of Personality v0.3

commonWealth of Personality
currently expands character creation by allowing you to use custom mesh & texture assets for your character's body and hands, adding new mirrored & split assets, and unlocking vanilla assets from their 'exit the vault' requirement (I have no plans to unlock any vanilla assets tied to magazine/perk requirements!).

Now also integrates Misfit Ink & Taboo Tattoo Cut Content!

Custom Player Body & Hand Asset Support!
cWoP improved slightly upon the excellent Unique Player by adding custom mesh & texture asset support during initial character sculpt in addition to post creation gameplay. I spent a good twenty minutes 'troubleshooting' Unique Player not realizing that my chosen textures wouldn't show up until after character creation. And thus v0.1 of cWoP was born.

Integrated Mods!
cWoP now integrates the following mods:

Misfit Ink Tattoos by imAarwyn!
Taboo Tattoo Cut Content by RoboAsimov!

Mirrored, Split & Unlocked Assets! (+176)
cWoP unlocks 8 Brows, 14 Eyes, 52 Face Paints, 10 Grime decals, and 16 Hair Styles from their 'exit the vault' requirement. Assets tied to magazine/perk requirements remain locked. An additional 14 Blemishes, 6 Bruises, 16 Face Paints, 4 Markings, and 40 Scars were also added, each a mirror image of vanilla assets. So 176 additional character generation options drawn from vanilla assets (split roughly between the sexes).

Instructions

Base Mod Install Instructions

1. If you are running v0.1 please uninstall v0.1 first. I unified the mod's file naming and structure to facilitate further work. I won't be changing either again, promise!

2. Install v0.3 using NMM or manually install into your FO4 /Data folder.

Body & Hand Asset Install Instructions

1. Copy the desired asset files into their respective folders, as follows -

Meshes -/Data/Meshes/Actors/Character/cWoP_PlayerCharacter
Textures -/Data/Textures/Actors/Character/cWoP_PlayerCharacter

2. Rename the desired asset files to match cWoP filenames, as follows -

Meshes - cWoP_Player[PartSex].nif - ex cWoP_PlayerTorsoMale.nif
Textures - cWoP_Playerp[PartSex]_d.DDS - ex cWoP_PlayerTorsoMale_d.dds

Recommended Mods

LooksMenu - Easier access to character sculpt options and also avoids a couple selection bugs that seem to be baked into the vanilla selection functions.
Lots More Facial Hair, Lots More Female Hairstyles, and Lots More Male Hairstyles - Massive number of new hairstyle options kitbashed from vanilla assets.

Compatibility

I was asked about CBBE compatibility, I believe because Unique Player has a link to a CBBE patch, Unique Body. cWoP is fully compatible; The Unique Body patch is just a FOMOD for the CBBE mesh and texture assets, nothing more. Just install the CBBE assets for cWoP like you would any other mesh and texture assets in addition to activating CBBE itself.

All face decals (everything under 'Extras' during chargen) are stored on a list tied directly to the Human racial template.  Unfortunately what this means is that any given mod containing face decals overwrites all prior loaded mods.  There can be only one.

As time (and permissions) allow I will be integrating various other face decal mods into cWoP.

For now, if the unlocked and mirrored vanilla assets don't scratch your particular itch I recommend LooksMenu Customization Compendium.

Future Design

- Companion custom mesh & texture support.
- FOMOD body/hand texture installer.
- Integrate Tattoo-a-palooza by RoboAsimov. (TESTING)
- No-issue heterochromatic eye mesh.
- Reach out for other integration permissions.
