Compatibility
It should be compatible with everything. If it for some reason isn't let me know in the comments.
Obtaining the knife
It is sold by various vendors starting at level 35 and occasionally spawns on Gunners.
You can also type >help weaver 4< in the console and add the item that simply says >weaver< to your inventory.
