Bright lights, dark nights

Welcome to Wunderbar Wasteland!  If you felt like FO4 looked a little drab, then this will liven it up for you.  This ReShade preset has stronger colors through the use of vibrance and saturation, stronger bloom, stronger and more apparent contrast - resulting in brighter lights and darker shadows, and a more lively presentation overall.

The performance hit on my machine seems negligible, but there are some areas where the impact is more noticeable.  On vanilla settings on ultra, I get 50-55 fps outdoors, and with this preset on I'd say I'm closer to 50 regularly.  My specs are as follows:
AMD FX 6300 OC'd to 4.3 GHz
8GB RAM
AMD R9 290X 4GB

If you can run vanilla FO4 on ultra, then you should be ok, otherwise I will leave 0.1 available in the downloads.  0.1 is less resource demanding, but it has a much less noticeable change to the game.

This coloration won't play particularly well with something like the Darker Nights mod.  I've received feedback that it basically turns your nights pitch black.  Presumably, any other mod that alters your brightness settings/contrast would do the same.  It isn't that these mods are incompatible, it's just that I think you'll end up with either a very dark or a very bright game.  Again, this ReShade IS compatible with other visual mods like Darker Nights, but it probably won't look very good.

After downloading, extract, and put all files (ReShade folder, ReShade.fx, and dxgi.dll) into your Fallout 4 installation directory (where Fallout4.exe is located).

Once you start the game you should have a message in the top left part of the screen that says the effect was successfully compiled/loaded.  This means that it worked and you're good to go.
