An implementation of Conway's Game of Life for Fallout 4.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
The Game of Life on lightboxes in Fallout 4. What's not to love?

How to use:
  • Build a grid of GOL Cells (located in Power/Misc)
  • Connect power to one cell with an Interval Switch or an oscillator from Advanced Settlement Power
  • Connect a switch bypassing the Interval Switch/oscillator from your power source to the GOL cell
  • Freeze the display by turning the bypass switch on
  • Activate some cells on your array
  • Turn bypass switch off so the cells are turned on and off by the Interval Switch/oscillator
  • At every power cycle one generation will be computed
  • To reconfigure display repeat steps 4-6

Note: For large displays you will need to run at a fairly slow (0.5Hz or slower) frequency.

Game of Life Rules:
  • Any live cell with fewer than two live neighbours dies, as if caused by under-population.
  • Any live cell with two or three live neighbours lives on to the next generation.
  • Any live cell with more than three live neighbours dies, as if by over-population.
  • Any dead cell with exactly three live neighbours becomes a live cell, as if by reproduction.
