The Vanilla Workbench always felt like more of a storage bench to me. Extra food, and water produced by
your settlers winds up there, you store all of your junk and construction materials there etc.
The vanilla workbench does A LOT, but its also kind of boring.

This mod allows you to build a pre-fab Storage bench complete with animations custom sound effects, and an auto storing option to store your junk, ammo, Holotapes, food, medicine etc. with one button. The storage bench links back to your current workshop inventory. All of your inventory items will be available here, all overflow from your settlements will be here etc. Any changes made to the main workshop inventory, will carry over to the storage bench, and vice versa.

In addition, settlers can randomly rummage through your storage and will take food, water and medicine from you when they do.  The bench is animated so you will see them doing so. Raiders, synths and other unwanted guests can and will steal your stuff if they get an opportunity as well, so be careful who you allow around your storage area. The Storage Bench is found under the containers tab in the furniture category.

There is also an alternate version which requires no ESP or scripting, just a mesh. Alternate version simply replaces the vanilla workbench, so it is super lightweight, but doesn't have the animation, scripting features, etc of the main Storage bench.

With the re-placer version, occasionally vanilla items will be placed on the workbench by beth when you first encounter them. They will clip since its just a mesh Re-placer. Just pick them up. This issue is not present in the stand alone version.

I have tested the mod as extensively as I can, and so far no bugs. I will make one VERY important suggestion. If you are using the store all button, AND you are using custom modded settlements, MAKE SURE to save your game before trying the store all option. There is a VERY small possibility that the store all option doesn't link back to the workbench due to it being incompatible with the way the modder set up his settlement, you will NOT be able to recover your stuff. Even if you uninstall the mod. It is gone forever. You can test to make sure the workbench is properly connected by opening the storage bench using the main open/search key first NOT THE STORE ALL BUTTON. If the main search/open function works perfectly, the settlement workshop is linked and you are good to go. You will have no issues whatsoever, it will work perfectly smoothly.

I am honestly not sure this will ever occur since I carefully scripted in some safeguards, but I cant account for any outside of the box stuff other modders might do with their settlement workbenches and I take NO responsibility for you losing your stuff if you use custom settlements and don't follow my instructions first. Other than that, this is 100% safe on all vanilla settlements, and prob on 99% of modded ones as well.

Huge thanks to Dinozaurz who let me Borrow some resources from his Do it your shelf, and Dino's decorations mod. They're amazing mods, I highly recommend trying them out if you haven't yet. This would have taken considerably longer without them.
