Hi All

So, one of the things that bugs me about games like fallout, is that you carry all your stuff in your pocket-less jumpsuit, and wearing power armour this isn't any better as it also, has nowhere to store all the junk you carry around.

Now, I appreciate proper realism would be fairly game breaking (pretty sure it would be very slow going carrying even 2 two weapons and ammo around, let alone tones) but i think backpacks etc make the game feel more realistic.

So for my latest play though I made some static weapon meshes and bags to go onto my power armour and its worked out quite nicely. As a few people have request, I've put this mod up. I'll continue to use this mod as a place I to dump the PA mods I make and use, in case anyone else wishes to use them too.

These mods are just mesh replacements, they have no changes to gameplay. They can be coloured as normal power armour, and should not interfere with any other PA mods, providing they don't change the mesh.

The files currently available are:

Green Bags

Version 1 brings a some of the bags attached to robots from the automoton DLC and a leather strap across the front. The mesh is similar for all PAs, its just been slightly altered. The file contains replacement body meshes for all the standard PAs. As this uses Automotron assets, you need that DLC installed. 

Static PA weapons for use with - Visible Weapons - 3rd Person Holster by registrator200

This file adds a set of static meshes fitted for PA's. These only work if you have Visible Weapons - 3rd Person Holster by registrator2000. It includes a plasma rifle, a Gatling laser and a minigun.

To use:

Install as normal
Pickup the weapons (in a crate outside vault 111)
Link the weapons as per Visible Weapons - 3rd Person Holster instructions (make sure you are not in the PA when you link them)

Notes
You cannot 'equip' these while wearing Power Armour, however the scripts in the 3rd Person Holster mod force them onto your character if you equip the weapon while in the power armour. Basically, when you get into the power armour, just equip each weapon in turn and they will all appear. This mod works best if you use different weapons when in PA than outside it.

'Why are these not PA tagged so they can be equipped in PA?'
This is because the Visible weapon script starts to create duplicates of the apparel weapons as they stay with the frame when you exit.

The weapons use slots 56,57,58, so will interfere with any custom items that use those slots.
