Wasteland Staryu is a Dogmeat replacer that I made to go along with my Wasteland Misty outfit.
But What Does It Do?!
Dogmeat will magically "evolve" into a Staryu!!
Where Do I Get My Pokemans?!
This file will totally totally replace Dogmeat!! Sucks that you lose the pup, but you get a frickin' Staryu and that's cool as shit. So wherever you left Dogmeat you'll now find a giant frickin' starfish. Also changes Dogmeat's name to "Staryu".
Installation
Just install with NMM, it's easier for everyone.
Uninstallation
Go back into NMM, select the mod, then choose uninstall. (but why would you want to?)
Known Issues
- Staryu...uh...barks. It's the radiation.
Seriously though, going through all of Dogmeat's sound files was proving to be a major pain in the ass. This was supposed to be just a fun little mod so I didn't want to invest quite that much time in it. Sorry!
-Equipped armor on Staryu will be caught in his weird gravitational pull and just stay suspended behind him. It's a starfish thing, you wouldn't understand. I'd strongly suggest just leaving him naked.

- Staryu is awesome!! He'd be super awesome if he were standalone! CAN HE BE STANDALONE?!
I totally agree. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to figure out how to make him not replace Dogmeat without losing the ability to command him to move or to send him to a specific place (like Sanctuary or Red Rocket) if you no longer want him to follow you. If anyone knows how and wants to share their secrets I'll gladly look into adding it.
