About this mod

This mod removes almost all of the loose stimpaks from the game, which makes the game more difficult.

No Stim for You

Have you ever wondered why there are so many stimpaks just lying out in the open in the wasteland?  Seems like stims would be more valuable than gold, so why has no one already picked them up?  Do you find the game too easy because you always end up with way more stims than you'll ever use?  Well this mod aims help to fix that.

What this mod does:

This mod simply removes almost all of the hand placed stimpaks from the game.

What this mod doesn't do:

It does not remove stimpaks from leveled lists, vendors, characters, containers or dead bodies.  In fact with just this mod, you'll still likely find lots of stimpaks in the game, just none that are lying out in the open.  That being said, there are a handful of other mods available which do remove stimpaks from leveled lists, etc.  I made this because because I felt removing the "hand-placed" stimpaks was something that was missing from other such HC style mods.

Installation:

Download and install with your favorite mod manager.  Place high in your load order.

Load Order:

The best place to put this mod is directly below the unofficial fallout 4 patch.  In any case, it should be placed high in your mod order.

Compatibility:

Should be compatible with anything, as long as you do not screw up the load order.  Since it changes a great number of placed item records, and therefore it contains worldspace and cell edits, it is very important to place this mod above any other mod which edits visuals in the game.  Examples include mods which change the lighting, sound, weather, locations, etc.  Placing this mod below such other mods will likely cause problems with those other mods, possibly even ctd's. Please note I have carefully checked each cell edit in this mod to make sure it matches vanilla Fallout 4. (and also Far Harbor, for the Far Harbor version).

For the True Hard-Core Player:

I highly recommending using these mods which are all very compatible with No Stim for You.

No Food for you
Sleep Doesn't Heal (by me)
Food Don't Heal (by PaddyGarcia)
Wasteland Wound Care (by PaddyGarcia) among other things, lets you craft bandages from cloth a good alternative to stimpaks.
Fallout 4 Loot Overhaul (by Darthsith) Removes even more stims from the game, along with a bunch of other stuff.
