You can morph your Power Armor Models with this

PLEASE READ THE WHOLE PAGE BEFORE DOWNLOADING AND USING THIS MOD!

Discription:
I have used the awesome Outfit Studio tool to create Bodyslide files for all vanilla power armor models.
You can use them to customize your Power Armor's meshes.

Requirements:
BodySlide and Outfit Studio    GO AND ENDORSE IT!

Installation:
Install with NMM or any other mod manager.

Uninstallation:
Your mod manager should do this for you.

Compatibility
This should be compatible with everything, that does not alter the meshes of power armors or power armor frames. Texture mods are fine.

Proof of Concept:
This is the result of an idea I had a few days ago. I was browsing new mods thinking "Why hasn't anyone made bodyslide files for power armors in Fallout 4?". Today I finaly found the time to do just that.
Some expeced and some unexpected problems arose though. I will write about them in the Known Issues section.
Why is this a proof of concept? Because that's what it is. I wanted to see if it is possible. Also I propably won't have much time to work on improving this mod. I will see, what i can do, but no promises. I put this here mostly to show that it is possible and hope that someone is inspired by it to create something better.
If people are interested i can upload a tutorial of how i made this.
Ths is now a replacer variant of PAAM - Power Armor Alternative Meshes (Bodyslide).

Usage:
I assume that if you download this, you at least know how to use Bodyslide. You will see a seperate entry for every armor piece of every power armor, for the jetpacks, for 5 different frames and the frame furniture armor (this is the one you see when the power armor is empty). You need to build every armor part you want to change and (propably) all frame meshes in Bodyslide. There are also entries for the complete sets of power armor marked with "REFERENCE". These entries don't do anything ingame so you don't need to build them. They won't break anything if you do, but it is just unnecessary. I only added them so you can see what you do when you set up your sliders.

Setting up your sliders:
It propably wont do much if you use the same slider setup you use for other armors. The "problem" is that as the power armors are huge, you need to set your sliders very high/low to get a proper effect. I added example slider setups I made for the frames and armor pieces. As you can see there, slider values between -300% and 300% are nothing out of the ordinary. So if you don't have a really absolutly crazily exaggerated body/armor setup, you propably won't even see any difference on your power armor with your normal setup. Try playing around with the slides to see how they work.

I recommend you to first set up your slides the way you like it using a refference shape and save the slider preset. I did not invest too much effort into the refference shapes. I only added them, so you can get an idea of how the shape of your Power armor will look in game. So if you see clipping in your preview window, you don't have to worry. Most of it propably wont show up in your game. And if some of it does, you can easily fix it when building the indipendend armor parts and frames. For example: If you see the frame shoulder parts clipping though the shoulder armor, you can just set the sliders for the frame a little thinner then for the arm pieces when building it.

After you created a slider setup you are happy with, you should look through all the independend armor pieces, wether they look all right with it and if necessary correct it for each part indiviualy. Otherwise you might get some weird morphs in game.
For example: On some power armors the arm plating gets influenced by the sliders for the hips and waist (in case you care: this is because the T-pose of power armors have very low hanging arms/hands compared to normal armor meshes). This might cause unwanted distortions. So when you build your arm plating meshes, you can just set the waist and hip sliders to 0 to prevent that. You only need those sliders for the torso armor part anyway.
Something similar might be necessary for leg armor pieces, too. You will have to take your time to go through every part till it looks allright.
Just don't batch-build everything with the same slider setup and expect it to look perfect. You might get lucky, but you propably won't.
This should propably not be necessary up from version 0.2 anymore. The sliders work much smoother now, so batch building should be allright as a first step. After that you can check up your results in game and fine-tune if needed. I realy recommend you to build the frames with a slightly smaller slider setup then the armor pieces. The difference wont be visible in game, but it will avoid lots of small clipping issues.

KNOWN ISSUES:
Clipping: When a power armor is not equiped and just standing around, the frame has vanilla sizes, while the attached armor is changed. So you will propably have clipping there.
Fixed in version 0.2
Also the morphs don't always work exacy the same on the frame and the armor pieces, so you might see some clipping here too.
Also fixed in v0.2.
Still: The higher (positiva AND negative) your sliders, the higher the chance of clipping here. I would suggest to set your sliders for the frames a little lower then for the armor pieces. That way you should be able to avoid this.
Clipping also often appreas on the Leg parts of the T-45 and T-51 Power armors in the hip area. There is not much I can do about this. Especialy on the T-45 legs there are so few vertices in this area, that it is pretty much impossible to avoid all clipping other then making this whole area static. By setting up different slider setups for legs and torso you should be able to fix this in your game if it bothers you very much.

Male and Female Power Armor Models are the same: This is not really a bug. Thats just how it is. For power armors the game does not differentiate between male and female (kinda makes sense, I guess). I have an idea how to change this, but I didn't have time to work on it yet. If I can figure something out, I will upload it. But again: don't get your hopes up. I really don't have much time for modding lately.
As I had some free time today I started on this, in fact. You will be able to modify your armor to use the bodyslided meshes on a power armor station. this way we keep it somewhat realistic. Armor changing shape, depending who steps inside seems not the perfect solution here.
It will take some time (weeks?) though. When i have something presenteble ready, i will propably upload it as its own mod, and leave this here as a replacer.

T-51 shoulder armor doesn't get morphed with the rest of the armor: I know about that. That is a work around. For some reason i had texture bugs with morphed T-51 shoulder pads. No idea why. The textures seemed to be on the wrong (inner) side of the mesh. I dont know what caused this, but making them not morphable was the only way I knew to fix this. The rest of the arm plates morph just fine though. If you have a better way, feel free to tell me and i will implement it, as I find the time.

Some sliders have a really weird effect and some deformations look ugly: I know about that, too. Nothing i can do here. I just added the CBBE morphs to the power armor. The better way would be to make new better meshes and add custom morph files to it. But that is just way beyond what I can do.
I drasticly improved this in version 0.2 though imho.

The entries marked as REFERENCE don't behave the same way, as the endresults in game: Yes, another point i don't know how to fix. I didnt put too much efford into the refference shapes as they dont appear in game anyway. Still its weird that they deform somewhat differently then the independent armor parts and frames. Anyway, they should still help to get a feel of what the sliders do to the power armors.

Some more stuff, that I forgot. I am sure there was more. I'll add it as soon as I remember or as you remind me ;).

Permissions:
You can use the meshes you create with this anyway you want, as long it is not for-profit and as long as you credit me.
Your are NOT allowed to upload these Bodyslide files to other Sites. I think if Bodyslide is here on the Nexus, so should be this mod.
You can however upload the meshes you create with these Bodyslide files files wherever you want, as long as you credit me, but again NOT for commercial reasons.
