SILENCED .38 PISTOL
Brings a silenced pistol in .38 caliber based off the "Silenced .22 Pistol" from New Vegas to the Commonwealth

The Silenced .38 Pistol has a relatively low base DPS but makes a perfect piece for a character looking for an early-game dedicated silent sidearm for sneaking around.

Now with updated models, better textures, new modifications and real recipes!

Weapon modifications:

2 Barrels
4 Magazines
2 Bolts
2 Sights
4 Receivers
2 Grips

Obtaining the weapon:

One can be found in the "Intel Room" table in USAF Satellite Station Olivia (shown in one of the pictures, it's hard to miss).
Or if you're feeling a bit cheaty, or for some reason one does not appear in the "Intel Room", one can be spawned with the console using:

player.additem XX000f99

"XX" referencing the mod load ID of the mod.

If you don't know this you can find the ID for the weapon with:

help "Silenced .38 Pistol" 4 weap
and then use "player.additem" with the appropriate ID.

NOTES:
This weapon has been my first real attempt at modding something into the Fallout universe (because I'm not really going to count my SUPER IMMERSIVE MOD as a real mod for obvious reasons.

* There may kely be bugs with the weapon.
* I have not yet added the weapon to any leveled lists, mostly because I am not sure if it would fit on any leveled lists on appropriate enemies around the time the pistol is useful. If anyone has any suggestions, I am open to ideas.
ajhakra made a texture replacement for the pistol and is currently available as an optional file. Sadly it will currently only work for the OLD version of the pistol.
* I would love to hear feedback on this in general!

The team at NifSkope, awesome work doing what Bethesda refuse to do for the rest of us!
ajhakra - Brilliant retexture for the pistol
MikeMoore - For a few of his tutorials and basically not making me want to rage when I saw how backwards it is to get models into the game ;)
Sam Fisher - For help over on the forums in sorting out an issue I had.
The Fallout modding community in general, tons of information out there and plenty of inspiration too.
