Description
===========

This mod adds the M1870 Gasser Revolver, a classy if somewhat peculiar beast that is sure to put a stylish mustache and top hat on anyone who wields it, as well as befoul the trousers of anyone you point it at. Chambered in a unique 11.25mm round, the Gasser isn't quite as powerful as the .44 and has only 5 shots, but that don't mean this ol' grampa can't get the job done.

The mod comes with a scratch made mesh and textures, and features custom sounds for both firing and when the gun's empty. The Gasser is also fully level-listed along with its ammo, utilizing script injection, so there should be no need for manual plugin merging. The revolver's ammo can also be crafted at a Chem Station, under Utility. The gun also has a few mods, namely a longer barrel, plus a stainless steel version and damage-boosting receivers in both standard and stainless, and as of 1.1 you can has golden barrels and receivers too.

Known Issues
===========

The hammer looks fine cocked back, but it doesn't sit correctly when in its uncocked state, leaving a fair gap between it and the body of the revolver. The screenshot of the gun firing shows the issue. This is unfortunately not something I can easily fix because the gun's unique structure would require moving certain nodes in the NIF file, and said nodes CAN'T be modified because it results in strange offsets. Ultimately I had to choose between a gap between the revolver and the hammer, or the bullet cylinder spinning VERY wrongly, so I went with the former. This is also why the gun doesn't quite fit in the hand because I determined reducing its size would only make the hammer gap worse.

Installation

Download and extract the files to your Data folder, or download via NMM.

Uninstallation
=============

Untick the mod in NMM or in the in-game Mod's menu, then delete the ESP. You'll need to poke through the meshes, textures, materials, sound and scripts folders if you want to delete the actual contents of the mod. I keep things reasonably organized so it shouldn't be hard to find said files.
