This mod is currently something of an alpha! There are still some visual issues, but they aren't easily noticed in most normal gameplay.
Were you frustrated that the radstags bore very little resemblance to actual deer you might see around Boston, despite other Fallout species being recognizably similar to their original forms (deathclaws aside)? Are you just bored with or offended by their current muddy textures and randomly-shaved patches of hairless skin? Either way, this mod fixes it!
Almost everything is completely redone with textures based on actual whitetail deer. The only thing mostly untouched is the antler textures, aside from albino radstags no longer having pink antlers. There are two versions: healthy, where normal, albino, and young radstags all have lovely, thick coats of fur, and mangy, where all radstags have patchy fur. (The rabid radstags are mangy, grey, and have red sores in both editions.) All versions have blind inner eyes on both heads. The mounted radstag heads use the same textures, so they'll match up with the living ones you'll see.
Glowing radstags are not quite finished yet, but in both versions they will deviate wildly from other radstags: glowing ones will be almost completely hairless, similar to human ghouls, and have slightly tweaked glow maps.
