NOTE: This is a WIP and my first mod so there will be odd mistakes here and there, I will endeavor to fix any and all glitches, but it may take time.
Also if anyone would mind taking a decent screenshot/video it would be much appreciated. (My PC is junk and so that's why the screenshots are from XB1)
What this mod does:
- Fixes the castle walls and adds a doorway to the front entrance
- Removes all debris from the castle, everything from dead shrubs and stains to rubble and mirelurk junk
- Unbricks the windows facing into the courtyard
- Properly bricks up the window into the armory (Why would I not just smash through that flimsy redbrick with my supersledge!?)
- Sorts out the flooring by the courtyard walls
Still to be done:
- Redo collision on steps
- Add rooms to the rebuilt castle
- Fix that old looking radio tower
- Make the grass on top of the walls less bumpy
- Redo the collision for entire 02/03 wedges to allow shooting through now open windows
- Make sure all quests that revolve around the castle still work
- Fix up the rest of the commonwealths settlements (Why would you not use the bottom room of that switching tower, stupid oberlands)
Notes:
- Put after 'Scrap Fallout' in load order (If that doesn't work try loading your game without 'SF', then re-add 'SF' to your game)
- I've not removed any barrels/boxes etc or mirelurk nesting clutches
- I highly recommend 'Green in the Commonwealth' it really does make the castle look good
- Please report any visual, collision, navmesh glitches I've had to completely redo the collision and navmesh for the castle and will have undoubtedly missed something.
- If there's something related to the castle that seems to be in the remit of this mod please suggest it (No promises on what I'll actually do though)
Known glitches:
- Missing wall in hallway and poor doorway/wall collision in armory (will be fixed ASAP... hopefully...)
- Often get stuck for half a second at the top of the stairs in left side of the back wedge (side with original doorway out, facing outwards)
- Navmesh is a little clunky at times, it works, but the NPCs do stop to figure out what they're doing a little too often...
