About this mod

Makes many Strength perks' effects increase based on the player's Strength, while lowering the requirements to take Strength perks.

v1.11 - fixed error with prerequisites at higher levels of Armorer, Heavy Gunner, and Basher.

This simple .esp adds alternate requirements to take most Strength perks, while making the effects depend on the exact level of the player's Strength.  Perks are balanced so that the player character needs 10 Strength to achieve the same level of effect as the vanilla perk.  This makes the perks significantly worse for players with less than 10 Strength--unless they are wearing Power Armor.

Since Power Armor gives a minimum of 11 Strength, players now gain a significant advantage to Unarmed, Melee, and Heavy Weapons damage when wearing it if they have the right perks, regardless of their base Strength.  Strength-enhancing food and chems can have a similar effect.

This mod is standalone, but is intended to be used with my Power Armor Diversification mod for maximum effect.  The intent is to allow and encourage players to use completely different weapons and tactics when in and out of Power Armor, increasing variety in gameplay.

So, for example, the vanilla Heavy Gunner perk required 5 Strength and gave a flat 20% damage bonus per level.  With this mod, Heavy Gunner gives 2% damage per point of Strength per level.  Thus, a player wearing power armor gets 22% damage (or more, with the right Power Armor mods) per level of Heavy Gunner they have.  Accuracy is affected in a similar fashion with higher levels of Heavy Gunner.

Because of the way the Perk poster works, I could not simply change or remove the Strength requirements, so I have added alternate requirements to each affected perk allowing the player to take it if he or she already has one level of the related perk, like a skill tree.  With v1.1, I've changed the prerequisite perks to make more sense.

Affected perks and their new alternate prerequisites are:
Big Leagues - 2 STR or Iron Fist 1
Armorer - 3 STR or Science! 1
Blacksmith - 4 STR or Armorer 1
Heavy Gunner - 5 STR or Commando 1 or Rifleman 1
Steady Aim - 7 STR or Heavy Gunner 1
Basher - 8 STR or Big Leagues 1 or Heavy Gunner 1
Pain Train - 10 STR or Basher 1

The only Strength perks unaffected by this mod are Strong Back and Rooted, which require additional tweaking to work this way.  I may release an update that includes at least Rooted later on.
Pain Train works the same as with vanilla FO4, except for the alternate prerequisite.
Level requirements for the perks are unchanged.
