I'm no longer playing Fallout 4, so this mod will probably not get updated any more. If it is broken please PM me and maybe I fix it.

New Mechanics & Stuff:

  • Added Direct Upgrades for Size, Material, Coating, Ballistic Weave and Vault Suit Lining
(Optional Indirect Upgrades for Material, Ballistic Weave and Vault Suit Lining are avaible)
  • Added Indirect Upgrades for Pockets, Weight Reduction, Explosion Protection and Armor Tier by using loose Mod as Material
  • Added additional Attachment Points for Coating (Shadowed & BoS), Pockets, Weight Reduction and Rad Protection to all Arms, Legs and Chests
  • Added "Muffled" to all Arms
  • Removed "Dense" from Metal(Robot) Arms and Legs
  • Added "Shadowed" to Synth Armor utilizing Black Synth Armor, that was already in the game Files (does not show up in Item Name)
  • Altered DC Guard Armor Arms/Chest and Vaultec/Covenant Security Armor to behave like Leather Armor
  • Altered DC Guard Armor and (Vaultec) Security Helmets to behave like Metal Helmet
  • "Deep Pocketed" Recipe for Security Armor now requires correct components
  • Altered "Shadowed" for Metal Armor to require Oil instead of Rubber like every other "Shadowed" Recipe
  • Removed "Ballistic Weave" from all Hats
  • Added "Ballistic Weave" to every Underarmor, Clothing, Full Armorsuit, Hazmat Suit
  • Enabled Gas Mask and Gas Mask with Googles to be wor with Hats and Helmets
  • Supports Automatron and Far Harbor
  • Included UFO4P Fixes for Synth Armor Linings not being detachable and Combat Armor Left Leg Weight being too high

Direct Upgrades:

Direct Upgrades allow you to upgrade from a lower version of a mod to a higher one by only paying the difference in Materials. To make this possible the mods need to be permanent and non detachable. Therefore they don't have loose mods. If you downgrade direct upgrades for Material or Material Extra you loose all Scrap, this only affects Material and Material Extra.

Indirect Upgrades:

Indirect Upgrades similar to direct Upgrades allow you to upgrade for just the difference in materials plus the loose mod you are upgrading from.
To make this work, you need to have at least one loose Mod of the same Type as the one you want to upgrade from in your Inventory. If you only have the attached one, you need to detach it first, before you can upgrade it. Although this is much more cumbersome, it will still allow you to detach mods.

Reasoning behind the mod:

See Article

Preparation Before Installation:

Detach DC Guard, Chest Mods, as the DC Guard Chest will use Leather Chest Mods after installing this Mod.
Detach Vaultec/Covenant Security Armor Mods as Vaultec/Covenant Security Armor will use Leather Chest Mods after installing this Mod.
Detach "Dense" from Metal/Robot Arms and Legs.
Attach any loose Ballistic Weave and Vaultsuit Lining Mods, as it will no longer be possible after installing this Mod.

Know Issues:

If you use the Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch by Arthmoor you need to load the "Alternate Armor Upgrade System.esp" AFTER the "AWKCRPatch-UFO4P.esp" that comes with AWKCR by valdacil. Else your Synth Armor and Right Combat Armor Leg won't be working correctly. I already have and will, if necessary, integrate the fixes from UFO4P into my mod. So no worries.

Because I added additional Conditions to the Armor Size, Ballistic Weave and Vaultsuit Lining Mods they get sorted alphabetically and not in order of requirements therefor I numbered them.

Because I didn't altered any dynamic naming rules Synth Armor does not display "Shadowed" in its name

Credits & Thanks:

Thanks go to BizarRabbit for removing all the AWKCR-Keywords from the FormIDs, so you no longer mandatory need to use AWKCR by valdacil with this Mod
