About this mod

This is an overhaul with balanced and unique way to approach armor modifications. Under-armors have characteristic modifications now and in a way bit of funny, detrimental and ambitious. Clothes can be upgraded pre-Railroad with less strength modifications. Also Spike, Cage and armors like that.. can be upgraded now :)

Basically this file does 3 main things;

(v1.0)1. You can now upgrade : Spike, Cage, Minuteman General and other armored Clothes. Don't worry it's balanced. :)

(v1.0)2. You can upgrade your clothes without joining to the Railroad.

(v1.2)3. You can upgrade your BoS outfit in a Unique way with special only to this item.
Which is added because Vault suit had it's upgrades but why no BoS outfits?
Didn't added same old lining to it because i wanted to be unique.
It has own keywords and standalone upgrades that no other armor will have ever.

(v1.4)4.You can upgrade your Raider Underarmors : Harness, Road Leathers, Gunner Leathers, Raider Leather, Long johns.
Basically all underarmors you see Raiders wear can be upgraded. No other clothes though.

(v.1.9.5)
All armors in the game revised. Some untouched, some changed and balanced.
Balanced to it's max and will continue to do just that if there is an unbalanced armor of course :)

Some fixes i considered problems in the vanilla game:

- Minuteman Outfit had Railroad Upgrades. ?? Why, you can already add armor on it. Deleted the Railroad Keyword.

- Maxon's Battlecoat had Railroad Upgrade. Considerable, but i had a better idea Interior and Exterior Armor mods.(Railroad weave type modifications but they are standalone have their own keywords)

- You cannot upgrade Spike, Cage and General outfit? Like saying "Let's make these pointless because they are cool looking". Added Interior and Exterior Modding Keywords.

WTF is Interior and Exterior mods?

- So there was an idea of Bethesda saying "Cool looking armors should not be upgraded". And there was a reason of course they have high armor rating.
- But after a while in the game they are pointless. And i really like Spike Armor. So i decided to make a modification with CK.

This file will add modding options : Interior Overlay, Exterior Overlay.

Interior Overlay is for Base armor Stat table goes as:

Tier 1 : 10/10
Tier 2 : 20/20
Tier 3 : 35/35
Tier 4 : 55/55
Tier 5 : 80/80


And also you have another modification Exterior Overlay. Prepare for a fight! is it against Raiders? or Institute?
one has Energy damage the other has Physical. So decide here in Exterior Overlay.

Reflectors : Adds Further Energy Resistance.
Suspensions : Adds Further Physical Resistance.

Reflector table:
Tier 1 : 0/8     - Science 1
Tier 2 : 0/16   - Science 2
Tier 3 : 0/24   - Science 3 + Adamantium Skeleton 1
Tier 4 : 0/32   - Science 4 + Adamantium Skeleton 2
Tier 5 : 0/40   - Science 4 + Adamantium Skeleton 3

Suspension table:
Tier 1 : 8/0     - Gun Nut 1
Tier 2 : 16/0   - Gun Nut 2
Tier 3 : 24/0   - Gun Nut 3 + Adamantium Skeleton 1
Tier 4 : 32/0   - Gun Nut 4 + Adamantium Skeleton 2
Tier 5 : 40/0   - Gun Nut 4 + Adamantium Skeleton 3


As you can see it's not op it's a bit hard to get. And not too much Resistance. My goal was making these armors playable not better.

So at the end, with Spike Armor 10/12 you will get:
Tier 5 Interior +80/+80 and Tier 5 Reflector or Tier 5 Suspension = 130/92 or 90/132. Which is balanced for this level.


For Cloth Users Railroad Weaves are Changed a bit;


Ok so i added 4 Upgrades you can do without joining to the Railroad.

Cloth Weave - 10/10
Leather Weave - 20/20
Metal Alloy Weave - 35/35 Increases Weight
Heavy Alloy Weave - 55/55 Increases Weight Further.

.
Ballistic Mk1,2,3,4,5


Ballistic weaves are still there and they don't have weight. So think of it like this;
You have a way of adding armor to clothes without Railroad DIA cache Ballistic technique
but you kind of suck at it.


With tech you can still do 110/110 mk5 Ballistic weave without increasing Weight. BUT you have to join Railroad. No Cheating!!

Clothes are playable without Railroad at least bu not a good armor choise.
-If requested i can add Exterior Modding to Clothes too. But I think that's the way it should be.


Clashing - Compatibility
-Anything that changes how clothing stat and armor modding works probably not compatible.By meaning that they'll overwrite eachother. Nothing will break :D

Uninstall
-Nothing happens feel free to uninstall anytime! Even when you have one of the mods on your armor. You'll just lose the awesome stats :)
