Perk Add & Remove Batch Files
by BouncySpartan68
Version 1.0

This mod is simply a collection of batch files that allow quickly adding or removing perks without searching through the console for their ID codes.  Using these files goes against the "natural" way of getting perks in the game, so it is basically a "cheat."  They should not harm your game at all, but if you don't want to use "cheats" you may as well avoid using these files.

If you are already pretty good at using batch files in Fallout 4 you shouldn't have too much trouble using these, but just in case check out the instructions below.

Notes on how to use:

-The "perk" folder you download here is meant to go in your Fallout 4 directory, the same place where your Fallout4.exe is located.

-To use the files (if you followed the instruction above), open the console in-game and type the following command:  bat "perk\<name>"

-All files have the name of the perk they add/remove, with a few simple rules.  No spaces or punctuation marks are included, and they all have a number corresponding to the perk's rank.  For example, to add the perk "Science! rank 1" type:  bat "perk\science1"

-To remove a perk, type the same command you would use to add it, but add the letter "x" at the end.  For example, to remove the perk "Science! rank 1" type:  bat "perk\science1x"

-The "Attribute Training" perks (Strength Training 2-10, Perception Training 2-10, etc) cannot be removed, so make sure you want them before you add them.  The reason they cannot be removed is that the game does not treat them like typical perks; instead of applying a certain effect to your character they permanently change one of your attributes, and removing the perk does not change it back.

-These files do support perks added by DLC, but they assume the DLC is loaded in standard order.  For example, since the "Scrapper rank 3" perk is added by the game's third DLC, Far Harbor, it is assumed that the Far Harbor DLC is loaded into your game third.  If you have the DLC loaded in a different position you need to open the "scrapper3.txt" and "scrapper3x.txt" files and change the first digit in the number code (after "player.addperk" or "player.removeperk") accordingly.
