This is my first mod, so bugs are absolutely a possibility. Always remember to save before trying new mods.
This mod is currently in testing, all feedback is greatly appreciated.
Known issues:
- The actors in the cell(turrets/enemies) can sometimes despawn.
- The radiation from the barrels can sometimes spike. Possible fix coming in next update.
Background:
This mod adds a trapdoor in the tunnels beneath the Castle. You will find a note next to the former General of the Minutemen. Within a few yards you will find a trapdoor leading into a cave that will take you closer to Diamond City. I made this mod as I personally don't use fast-travel, however I really wanted to use the Castle as a main settlement. Getting to and from the Castle is a major hazzle, and I wanted an "immersive" way to get to and from the Castle. Beware though, there might be a few surprises down there.
Installation:
Remember to save before installing new mods. Move the file into your "...\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data"-folder, or simply use the mod-manager.
Changelog:
v0.92b
- Added some more detail to the cells.
- Added some lights & mist for ambience.
- Fixed an issue where provisioners would use the tunnel(possible side effects: follower will spawn a little ways down the tunnel)
v0.91b
- Fixed an issue where the turret would attack the provisioner.
Spoilers:
This section spoils the location of keys/notes/enemies. First note is on the desk next to the former General. Second note is in the cavesystems(turn right at the turret). In the upcoming cave-room you will be ambushed by 3 mirelurks, one of them a very-hard legendary. Continue and activate the minecart to travel to the next cell. In the next cell, turn right for a free fusion-core. Continue into the sewers until you come to a fork. To your right is a locked door. Instead travel straight ahead. In the next room you will find a falvor-note on the table, a very-hard legendary glowing one that is supposed to ambush you. You will find the key between the archives. Unlock the door and continue to the stairs. You will exit through a manhole 50 meters from the entrance to Diamond City.
