About this mod
Tweaks the occurrence of a limb or head exploding or being dismembered per weapon. A pipe pistol will no longer shoot a head clean off for example, and a boxing glove will no longer make an arm explode.

Per default, some weapons have some strange gore effects.
Pipe weapons, for example, have a chance of dismembering a limb.
A boxing glove can make a head explode.
Although some of these choices may have been made to intentionally make Fallout 4 a bit more "gorey", it still bothered me.
This mod will generally set the weapons to do the following on hit:
Lasers: dismember
Plasma: explode
Lower caliber weapons: neither
High caliber weapons: explode
Explosives: both
There's some more specific ones such as the boxing glove mentioned above. A full list will follow, as will DLC support.
Please mention any bugs you have in the post section of this mod so I can take a look at it.
Just enable the mod using any mod organizer or launcher and you're good to go.
Load any mods that edit the default weaponry after this mod!
Note: sometimes a weapon might still behave differently than it should when scoring a hit.
This seems to happen to weapons that are already in your inventory when loading a savegame that does not have this mod enabled.
I am still trying to get some information on this - dropping and picking up the weapon could fix it.
