THIS MOD IS NOT SUPPORTED ANYMORE

What is it?

Explosive Entry gives you an alternative to lockpicking, by letting you use explosives to open locked containers and doors.
"Breaching" a container or door is based on both the player's Perception skill, the difficulty of the lock, and a chance factor.
I made the mod as dynamic as possible, so it should be compatible with all mods that fill a number of requirements - more on that later.

The calculations:

Whether or not the breach is successful is based on the following calculation:
A random number is generated, based on the lock's difficulty level. It ranges from 0-5 to 0-14. If the generated number is lower than the player's perception skill, the lock will be successfully breached. If not, you may give it another go. The strength of the explosive is not taken into consideration.

Installation:

It is highly recommended to use NMM to install this mod. You can do a manual install or use any mod manager you'd like, but I will not provide any support if you do not use NMM.

For modders:

How do you make your mod compatible with Explosive Entry? That depends on what your mod is.

For weapon mods:
To make your weapon compatible with Explosive Entry, all you need to do is give your weapon the vanilla keyword "WeaponTypeExplosive". yep, that's all. Simple, right?

For containers/doors:
If your mod adds a new container or door that isn't based on a vanilla base object, you will need to make a compatibility patch. To do this, add Explosive Entry as a master and add your container or door to the Formlist "ExplosiveEntry_Targets". If the container/door is below lock level 253, it will be breachable by Explosive Entry compatible weapons.

Future updates:

I will gladly take feature requests. If you have an idea for something that could make the mod "feel" better, please let me know in the comments.
