MOTSKI's Sanctuary - Is a simple MOD where I have removed all objects, obstructions and Clutter and then reshaped the terrain into a multi-levelled build-able Settlement with flat accessible surfaces for building your settlement.

MOTSKI's Sanctuary:

This MOD was designed using only the Base Game's Fallout 4 Data and existing art assets designed by Bethesda and has no dependency on any other DLC or MOD.

This MOD was designed with the intent to provide players with a simple yet large layout to build a settlement suitable as a base of operations. The patrols for all NPC's along with Preston, Codsworth, Dogmeat have been remapped and several new Immersive Idle NPC animations, have been set up for most walls and rails. Trash Can Carla default vendor location and her Brahmin's Idle marker have been placed, near the main staircase with instructions to not wonder too far.

Please note, Conflicts have been reported when other MODS containing elements/adjustments to Sanctuary Hills. Please deactivate those first prior to activating this MOD.

I am still having an ongoing issue with Preston's group return to Sanctuary from Concord. Until this final outstanding issue is resolved, I would recommend enabling this MOD only after Preston and the settlers have returned to Sanctuary Hills and settled in. After extensive testing, it seems that once this MOD is enabled after this occurs, settler's present will actively search out tasks such a crop farming, sleeping, bartering etc.

After a week of testing and reading/watching numerous tutorials, I believe I have located the problems with Preston's journey and other issues causing Settler's to not make their way to Sanctuary. Unfortunately, it appears to be no simple easy fix: for starters, several target ref data and links have been broken and/or removed from their cells with no known option on how to reset them along with several hundred other problems caused by not knowing what I was doing. I believe this would be the correct time to start anew using my experience to date and newly required knowledge on what I must avoid doing and prevent changing.

For now, I have uploaded my fixes to date - V1.2 uploaded most recently, contains finalised Nav Meshing and working crop/sleeping and resource management - Testing displayed in the most recent preview image. My next upload will however be a new MOTSKI's Sanctuary (with similar height maps (it should not effect your existing settlement to much) will feature some other requested suggestions such as extended build space areas, rear stair case entrance to vault 111, adjusted water levels and terrain and the implementation of a pier(s) for some kind of fishing MOD.

I will be taking special care to not repeat any of my original mistakes. If during or even after my development I stumble across a way to resolve any existing issues, I will take time to submit the appropriate fixes.

22/07/2022 - Mod Authors note:

After several years of tweaking Nav meshes, re-re-remaking this mod  and trying to attempt to make this mod work as intended within the limits of the creation engine, I have decided to "Abandon" this mod.

I Hope a talented mod author can either pick up from where I left it, making it their own or perhaps, inspire someone to try it themselves.

Please note: This is the original v1.2 file I found hidden on my account - no additional updates.
