So when I couldn't find any nice weather mods for FO4 I decided to try a hail mary shot - loading my own sky / weather mod from Skyrim.
well, spank my ass and call me mary.. it works right outta the box! i think...

since i don't have or want the creation kit for FO4, i won't edit further. what works now:
1. clear blue skies in realistic colors
2. rain
3. fog

that's as far as i've documented yet, but i now expect most of the normal weathers will feature
