9/24/16: After a long hiatus from Fallout 4, I've returned with a new versions of this simple mod. They include custom sounds for both the .22 and 5mm receivers, suppressed and unsuppressed. This was mainly made for survival mode. The purpose of this mod is to fill a role for hunting small game added in Far Harbor/Commonwealth Chickens & Rabbits. On lower difficulties, where hunger isn't an issue, this mod is lacking.
