This HUD preset is compatible with the latest Fallout 4 and DEF_UI updates.
Minimalistic HUD is a minimalistic, stylish and decluttered HUD preset for DEF_UI. You only need to install DEF_HUD during the NMM installation for this to work. You need to download and install it first to use this preset. Endorse DEF_UI if you like this preset. Credits go to Neanka and Valdacil for creating and sharing DEF_UI. Current version is 16:9 only.
This preset is meant for advanced players. Do not ask me to make custom versions. The mod comes as is.
Features (check the screenshots for graphical features)
- HUD elements are 50-60% smaller than Vanilla and placed in an orderly grid.
- The quest animations and tutorials have been disabled. I find them really annoying as an advanced player.
- The HUD is made around the 'uncustomizable' markers in update 1.5. The markers in Survival mode blend perfectly with this preset.
By default the preset disables
- Pip-Boy Light indicator;
- PA/Dogmeat markers;
- Condition indicator;
- Stealth indicator;
- Enemy skulls in combat;
- Enemy/Recon markers.
Less version
- Legendary indicator disabled;
- Location markers disabled;
- RAD indicator disabled;
- XP text disabled;
Bare bones
- Same as less version but with extra features below;
- Messages disabled;
- Enemy indicator disabled;
- PA indicator disabled;
- Perk indicator disabled;
- Region indicator disabled;
Bare bones without map speaks for itself.
Installation
- Install the latest DEF_UI version.
- Download this preset with NMM or manually drop the content of the download into you main FO4 folder.
- Override when asked.
- Endorse DEF_UI for making an awesome UI mod.
