Overview
Previously known as "Working Sinks And Toilets", the "Handyman's Toolbox" mod gives the tools to repair some of the broken stuff in Commonwealth back to working condition in an interactive way. Shortly after loading the game with the mod or after leaving Vault 111, you will receive Repairman's Wrench, Woodcutter's Axe and Gardener's Hoe. These can be used from the Pip-Boy or hotkeyed for a bit more seamless use.
*
Repairman's Wrench (and the tools that worked in the previous versions too) will repair the closest Sink, Toilet, Bathtub and Urinal so that you can drink and refill bottles from them, broken Beds and Mattresses so you can sleep in them, and prewar Stoves and Grills so you can use them to cook. It can also be used to repair the Sanctuary northern bridge and relight abandoned campfires (you can then craft at them).
*
Woodcutters Axe allows you to cut down many trees and bushes (and start campfires too). This will give you a piece of wood but it is not really meant for resource gathering - instead its main purpose is to disable unwanted objects blocking your way from mods like Resurrection and ReGrowth. Be careful as it can still be a bit clumsy - it only detects the closest reference even if it is already "cut down" (read "disabled"), so try to be really close to your target and even so it can be difficult if more objects are at almost the same spot. In case you mess up, you can use Gardener's Hoe to "regrow" the closest "cut down" tree at the cost of a piece of wood.
*
This mod comes with an ini fragment that disables combined objects - otherwise 99% of world objects would be unaffected by this mod. However, disabling them has a history of causing some people (me included) performance issues so keep it in mind and be careful, although I no longer experience any issues with the latest versions of Fallout 4 so chances are you will not experience any either. But you know... Backup, backup, backup and better safe than sorry. ;)

Feel free to let me know, if there are any more objects you think should be repairable by the mod and I just might include them in a future update if I find them reasonable and possible.
