So here it is:
Just build a save point where you want in your settlement, you can find it in the workshop/ressource/misc category.
-Save is not possible in combat
-You lose 1 adrenaline rank each time you save. This behavior can be disabled if you have an adrenaline patch in you inventory, this item can be crafted in the chem station/misc section.
Note1: It's compatible with everything, and the load order doesn't matter at all
install: esp/ba2 as usual, manually or with NMM,
uninstall. Simply Delete the _mcSavepoint.esp/ba2. No further action required
Note2: SavePoint triggers an Autosave. by default 3 savefiles are rolling, if you want to have more autosave files, add this to your Fallout4Custom.ini
[SaveGame]
iAutoSaveCount=n
where 'n' is the number of required save.
If you write iAutoSaveCount=5 , you will have 5 save files rolling between themselves instead of 3 (default)
Note3: there are a lot of other mods that change save on survival with different settings.
- If you want to save anytime, anywhere, the most interesting is probably this one http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11664/? (no scripting, no esp in lite version, it simply allows console keybindind, so you can set a shortcut to autosave or quicksave)
- If you like to be able to save in bed but without actually have to sleep, and craft a "save drug": http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12262/?
- If you want to have a chance to loot an holotape that allows saving: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12504/?
