About this mod

Not a complete overhaul but a reduction in material costs for most major build items and significant materials increases for many scrappable items.

Permissions and credits
This mod only focuses on base game items and constructibles for settlements. I now have Less Resources for DLC, which are two separate files for Automatron and Workshop. Please note that I did not change anything for weapons and armor, but you will benefit from the scrapping increases I have made.

The idea here is to make hunting for materials less of a hassle and more something you do routinely as you explore. Less need for junk dealers and sacrificing your build dreams because you ran out of supplies. As a  result, you can wall off your settlements and put up crazy defenses very early on and level up much faster.

The mod simply changes numbers for items, so it should be compatible with everything out there. I have forty mods and no issues.

What this will not do is adjust costs of other settlment crafting mods such as Homemaker or the numerous DDProduction mods. I will not be doing anything with them. Without permissions I won't do it.  All of this was done through FO4 edit, so if you are familiar with it, you can probably figure out how to adjust them for your own personal use.

Honestly, I don't know if this would be considered "lore-friendly." The fact is that the numbers and materials are so arbitrary because there is no clear conversion standard, so I figure less is more is just as valid as anything.  I wanted the builds to be more about creating and not about resource management, so if you are trying to do some kind of survival play through, then this is not for you.

Check out my other resource mods!

Less Resources Automatron

Less Resources Wasteland Workshop Edition

Less Resources Far Harbor

Less Resources Contraptions

Less Resources Vault-Tec

UPDATE: This mod and my other less resources mods now CK friendly (on Belhesda.net), but I would still use Nexus. They just get it.
