A mod that will allow you to play as the handy robots

Replaces power armors skeleton and behavior project files so you cannot use power armor while this is enable.

So you can easily get this working by loading a human save, starting a new game or skipping the intro.

So you need to download the main file and choose one of the skins, enable only one and choose wisely has the robot models will be stuck on your character, and it will effect other saves as well if you load them up with the skin enabled.

Now after picking one of the 3 methods of starting as a handy bot you will need to enter "setrace 1handy" or "setrace 1hnadydlc" onto your human. Depending on which skin you picked, the two races are different, the 1handy is for the basic handy bo without arms and the 1handydlc is for the one with arms. You can however turn a 1handy skin into a 1handydlc, and it will use the animations from the dlc handy bot.

To skip the intro, enter "coc vault111ext" at the main menu and enter "showspecialmenu" if you want to change the name and stats.

If you choose to stop using this mod for a while, do not just disable it. Completely uninstall it, so it doesn't effect power armors files.

Having Handy weapons in your inventory will force equip them to appear on the legs,. if you do not want a certain weapon to show just dump the item in a container in 3rd person, and if you want it to appear take it back from the container.

Basic combot layout:

1 - Basic left and right attack
2 - can do another attack with the bash/powerattack button
3 - can do an attack with the sprint and sneak button
4 - Handy left and middle gun weapons only work with the left attack, no vats will work on them.

Now i made a couple quick moddable robot esps you can customize using fo4edit, its a bit hard to explain this stuff but i can saw you a image of the parts you till need to touch, if you want your own custom handy bot. I havent figured out a way to do it in-game yet as the player isnt detected by the workbench but the clone is so ehh.

The 6 moddable esps includes:

Handy Bot
Handy Bot with arms and one middle eye
Assaultron Handy Bot
Protectron Handy Bot
Robobrain Handy Bot
Sentry bot Handy Bot

Basic Parts setup, nothing special. For each leg theres a little that you will need to look at. 00 00 = Middle Slot 01 00 = Right Slot 02 00 = Left Slot
You only need this for the handy legs and eyes, nothing else.



Now the two are different in a way, the dlc handy has arms and 1 handy eye and both have random paint, if you want to change the paint just click on the paint option and choose a different one like red.



Depending  on how many parts you have it will show the maximum number at the buttom but it also includes the 0, so say you have 31 parts but at the bottom it says 30 if you include the 0 it will make it 31.

If you remove a part the number will not be updated until you relaunch fo4edit, and the numbers of parts you have counts wont update either so you will have to manual change that to how many parts you have.

Now you can add parts to it but if its not compatible with a certain model it will not display in-game, adding a protectron head to a handy torso will not show up in game.

Now if you want a new limb, it has to be a part that says "limb" on it, do not choose the enc one over the limb one but if there isnt a limb one the enc one should be fine.

Try to keep the parts in order has hving many parts out of order can make it more confusing.
