This mod, a companion to Craftable Ammo by kr1ck, allows you to recover lead from your own bullets.

When I installed Craftable Ammo by kr1ck, I was thrilled with the possibilities of crafting my own ammunition. It didn't take me long, however, to realize that Fallout 4's Wasteland is oddly bereft of lead. I could, somehow, with the magic of gameplay, remove enough lead to make 25 rounds of ammunition from a single pencil. Aside from that, I was largely out of luck.
It makes no sense to me that you can manage to scavenge lead from pencils, but not bullets.
This is a simple mod that adds deconstruction recipes for lead-based ammunition. As kr1ck's mod provides us with 25 rounds from each unit of lead, I provided the ability to create one piece of lead from 25 rounds of lead-based ammunition.
His recipes also involve acid, cloth, steel, and copper, as well as other items, in varying amounts. None of these items can be scavenged from existing rounds in my recipe. To turn 100 .38 rounds into 100 10mm rounds, for example, you will have to find your own extra ingredients.
I can tell you right now, from personal experience, that you will usually run out of acid first!
