   First of all, great weapon! These vintage weapons fit perfect in the world of Fallout. I guess this handle kind of thing is because you're bound to the standard animations, are you?
   Have you asked somebody like WarDaddy? Colaborations between mod authors are a great thing, because these mods combine the skills of all authors.

      Yeah, that's the exact problem. I thought about asking him but really didn't want to bother him. I'm sure he has a lot of work on his hands already.

      maybe hitman might help? from what i've heard they're both very helpful people besides what do you have to lose by asking them? if they say yes you get awesome animations if they say no you don't lose anything man. such a beautiful gun deserves beautiful animations but its your call at the end of the day.

      Yep, that's my impression too. The top animators like Hitman, Wardaddy, etc. are one of this community's key resources and they seem very happy to help with quality mods... And this is undoubtedly a quality mod.
      
      That all said, the charging handle approach is really quite cool. Personally, I'm happy with it as is.
      
      Maybe go ahead and release it this way, and then, if and when you want, arrange new animations down the line?

      i wuuld love to see custom animation for the inconventional charging handle design!
      and i bet it's a pleasure working out such a special animation!

   I have been wanting this weapon so bad I can deal with the charging handle. It looks alright and if you can find someone to do animations you can always add those later

   I actually like the charging handle approach. It makes the weapon feel unique.

   You know, that's a fine solution. It'll allow you to release it quicker, which will allow you to squash any potential bugs faster.
