Just a quick test of baked maps. Need spend more time on wood and add extra paints to it. Survivalist's rifle will be chambered to .308, because i don't want to make compatibility patches

    Because it's called Survivalist's rifle, is this rifle supposed to be for the hardest difficulty in the game? I'm just asking because I've never played in the hardest difficulty because I find that dying more often is less fun for me.
    DansonDelta40- Actually the .223 was the preferred ammunition for that era because it weighed half what the .308 weighed allowing you to carry many more rounds of ammunition. The report of the .223 was also half as loud as the .308 making it more difficult to reveal your position to enemy recon units in the dense bush.

    Just wanted to say thank you for your awesome work, and that I am glad about the ammo change, because it is much more believable this way.

      Not sure, it doesn't look like it says "ARRET!" like the variant from new vegas did.

      On one side it says "Stop" and on the other it says "Arrêt." One is in English and the other in French. It's supposed to be a Canadian service rifle that the Mounties used during the US' occupation in the 2070's. Well, at least that's what the lore says about it. Either way, it's still a bad*** rifle.

      Looks like it says "Stop". In NV it said "Stop" on one side and "Arret" on the other.

      Awesome, thanks for the replies! I remembered ARRET but not STOP. This was one of my favorite weapons to use, too.

      Totally! I just didn't realize both languages were represented in the original, haha. You didn't often see the right side of the gun.

      So, as the Survival Rifle is a checkpoint carbine, you should put the gun at a military checkpoint. Perhaps 44 magnum for the caliber?

    My god if that isn't the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Mate your texturing work is world class. This looks absolutely glorious. Just a quick question though, do you think maybe we could have a see-through scopes version of the carry handle mounted colt 4x? Possibly in 2.5x zoom?
