Thanks very much. I try to post shots that represent what I am doing and seeing while playing the game, other than rotating the camera around freely to get better angles.

Thanks for the comment! It is a newer mod that came out - has a few accessories including the vest: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/22217/?

Oh, wonderful shots, I really like the one of Fenn sitting on the couch, so much of our lives are made up of sitting waiting, so real a shot and the end one is pretty great

Thanks Shelley! Unlike real life my characters are not sitting too much ... too busy running lol

absolutely great, Jon you know, I can't get enough from Fenn, but this time I have to say, the image "Boston Common" took more of my interest... the angle and the light is stunning... wow it looks like a real photo image

Thanks Tanj! I don't do a lot of landscape shots but now and then see one I like. I mainly don't take them as much as they don't interest me as much - like them a little more in Skyrim at least. But now and then I find a view I like. Plus the effects in FO are really cool at times.

I fully agree with you about the view... I specially like to do landscape pictures at twilight... for me it is visually a magical time in FO4

      Thanks

Well, I was checking the nexus for comments and saw that you posted a new gallery. Why not check it out? Great images Jon, these pictures make me miss to walk around in a pretty skyrim ( because I cannot play FO4 lol).

My situation actually improved, I feel happier now and I've started praticing knife throwing (can you say that in english?) in my new freetime. Finals are coming closer, but I guess I will manage to get through it After that I will finally be free to do what I want!

Hm, this comment is again longer as it was supposed to be.... Thanks for asking tho

Thanks for the update and stay focused

PS - Knife throwing sounds fun. I always wanted to learn archery and sword fighting but have settled on doing it in games.

I prefer fantasy games like Skyrim. I think my love of Fallout 4 has more to do with my love of Dogmeat, Mac, and Fenn

I'm certainly going to check out that link to the retextures, thanks for the link. Especially after the disappointment with the official "high resolution" DLC from Bethesda.

I would have preferred two feet of snow from that storm over the few inches of nasty sleet and freezing rain we got.

Are you still using the HR DLC from Beth? I have been debating deleting it and not using it. I can't tell what it might be helping and whether or not I have enough texture packs to cover most things now. I mean I could in theory but not about to explode all the texture BSA from beth and compare to all the textures I have installed manually. I would think with the size of the download they would still cover more textures than I have currently installed. Since the Beth ones are an ESM I believe any BSA mod texture packs I have come afterwards and hence will replace any of the Beth ones. Loose files I know I don't have to worry about.

I suppose I could also explode the beth one and remove ones I don't want but that is also way too much work.

What are you unhappy about? I know there was the black face issue although luckily that didn't hit me - I guess because I don't use mods that overhaul faces. I know what caused the bug - change in resolution for head textures - but don't understand why some people have it and some don't. I have 3 textures for the player character, three character make-overs (Mac, Preston, and Gage), and Bettler Settler mod which adds new settlers (using just the basic close to vanilla install of it). I haven't had any face issues. I ran the patch mod and it found nothing to change even though I know I have a younger male face replacer and a dirt/grime texture replacer.

Also I seem to have more of an issue with low res textures not getting replaced since I installed the Beth HR pack. Tried all the ideas you can find online (of which there are many) with limited success. Memory shouldn't be an issue but could be some internal optimization issue. Sometimes the textures load after a few seconds. Also only happens after been playing and zoning a few times. I think I have some memory issues in general with my PC and FO4 though as after an hour of playing or so I often need to restart the game as I get "low memory" warnings. I have 32 GB of RAM and 12GB of VRAM so I consider that odd. Anyhow may remove the HR Beth pack and see if that helps ... but some things I read implied it was the patch update that caused some issues relating to this texture issue which is common for many folks ... although the reasons why vary a great deal it seems.

Sorry for the long post - just that your comment made me curious about the disappointment and why you said that.

I could not tell the difference with most of the textures, only a few here and there were replaced but nowhere near what 50+GB of space should offer. Honestly, I never really looked into any other causes and just deleted it for now because I need to get another SSD to fill up.

I moved them to a back up folder tonight ... will see if it makes any difference. Space isn't a big issue as my SSD is 938 GB in size and have a TB on my HD. But curious to see if it makes a difference on memory/loading issues. I suspect it might be the patch though.

Ordered a new PC yesterday and hoping when that arrives it might solve some things. Just not sure my memory on my current PC is working right.

    Haahaahhahaha That last shot.

Great set of images there Jon, I loved the ones of Fenn contemplating about life on a couch. And the commons one was simply breathtaking, but my favorite has to be fenn with the AK, that capture was simply amazing!

Thanks kindly Josh! Yea had a little fun with that last image. I do like the main and been playing him lately all dirt covered and messy - which fits in well. Sure he also washes up when home at a settlement and so I alternate how dirty his skin looks at times and like to change around clothes to reflect that now and then.

That main image is just awesome, Jonathan. I really like the Pathos ENB for that reason which is why I have stuck with it thus far and haven't swapped like I usually do haha.

    Another great set.

Thanks! Aye playing with it tonight as well. Although I do alternate - really depends on my mood when I sit down to play. I try new ones when they come out as well as otherwise I might miss something. But unless it offers something really different or cool I stick to a core group I switch around.
