When I'm in the middle of a rampage like clearing Evergreen Mills, I hate having to faff about repairing items to reduce my load when I get encumbered, I want to get it done as fast as possible by madly clicking and hate having to double take in case I use a unique.
This has saved me so much hassle.
An easy endorsement and a kudos for letting my kill sprees flow more freely.

I LOVE this mod. Began using it after I oops used one of my favorite uniques to repair with, and had to redo a couple hours of gameplay. Wish someone would recreate this mod for NV.

@SheppyDude - yup, the Precision Gatling Laser (PGL) is unique all right, but there still shouldn't be a problem.

Even though I didn't include the DLCs in the mod, my revised repair lists should still take precedence.

So even tho' BS adds the PGL to the Gatling Laser repair list, when my mod is installed, my version of that repair list takes over and it only includes the standard Gatling Laser. In other words, the PGL should not be usable to repair a standard GL anyway, even though I didn't specifically 'remove' it.

I've played around with my load order, and this seems to be true even if I put this esp right at the top of the list, above BS. With my mod installed, the PGL is never available to use to repair the standard one.

Are you sure that with this mod installed, you can still use the PGL to repair a standard GL?

Hi Sheppydude - I'll check it out over the weekend, and do an update if necessary. It'll be easy to check in the Geck if it's unique. If so, that would need a BS version, but it's no biggie. Thx for the heads-up.

If anyone else spots anything I've missed, feel free to let me know.

@OldNotWeak - ta for the thumbs up. Glad you find it useful.

I think you forgot the Precision Gatling Laser, carried by the Armoury Master in the Enclave Mobile Crawler (Broken Steel). I'm pretty sure it is unique, as I've never found another.

    - Ahh! I thought that might be the case, I think I need a bit more practice with the geck before I try that out though so I'll just keep your mod running for the time being, thanks for the input though!

    Hi Deathclay

Well I've never come across alien epoxy, but that's not an issue.

There isn't a single repair list - most weapons and armours have individual repair lists. So for example, there's a Sniper Rifle repair list of items which can be used to repair sniper rifles, and a combat shotgun list of things that can repair combat shotguns, and so on.

Most lists cover a few related things, so you'll find a repair list for Combat Armour, Talon CA, Rivet City and Tenpenny security uniforms - all on one list. That means that each can be used for repairing any of the others.

So, to add something to ALL repair lists would require going into each of the repair lists and adding that item.

It's perfectly do-able, but I'm not sure how it would work out in game.

If you want to try it, load my mod in the geck, then look under Form Lists. Most of the repair lists have names with 'repair' in them. Then you can try adding the alien epoxy to a few of the lists and see how it works out in game.

Would it be possible to add alien epoxy to the repair list so that you can use it to repair armour? -- and the weapons repair list come to think of it, so you can use the proper repair screen.

I would attempt this myself but I thought the chances are it would conflict with this mod.

    Hi All

I see I got a thumbs-down from someone. Fair enough, it's not to everyone's taste - nothing is. I'm a big boy now, I can take constructive criticism.

But I'm curious about the stated reason "The file didn't do what the description implied".

Anyone have any idea what they might have meant by that? Is my description of the mod - or the name - bad or misleadiing? If so, please let me know what you found misleading, so I can fix it.

Apart from that, I just wanted to let you know that I trawled through the repair lists with Broken Steel loaded in the geck, and I can't see anything that needs changing because of it. If I missed any uniques added by BS, please let me know so I can update the mod with a BS version.
