Dimensional Storage, Version: 0.2
=================================
Created by Betajaen
What is it?
===========
Dimensional Storage takes on my previous idea of the Alien Space ship; By creating a no-fuss, no lore Player House. With no physical presence in the Wasteland, you get there and back by using a teleporting device on your person.
- It has plenty of labelled storage lockers for your prized possessions and bits of clutter.
- A bed for a quick nap
- An infirmary to patch yourself up.
- A workbench for weapon making.
A teleporting system to beam you in and out of the Dimensional Storage room, for a unique way of playing; Ran at of ammo in a fire-fight? No problem, just beam into the teleporting system and get some more, then beam back out and win!
To install
==========
Simply copy the DimensionalStorage.esp file into your Fallout 3 data folder. Then activate it using FOMM or The Fallout 3 configuration program.
How do I get to use it?
=======================
Go to Vault 101, outside you should find a large toy car which you should pick up, don't worry it doesn't weigh anything!
To teleport
===========
Go into your pip-boy, simply click on "Dimensional Storage Device" in the Aid menu and then leave the pip-boy. You'll be teleported into the Dimensional Storage Room.
There are no restrictions to where you can teleport from, you can even teleport from falling from the sky!
To teleport back
================
It's the same action as teleporting; It will even remember exactly where you teleported from and put you back there; even in interiors or obscure parts of Fallout 3.
History
=======
0.1
- Initial Release
0.2
- Improved the teleporting script and fixed a bug with it.
- Made the Dimensional Storage room slightly bigger
- Added the Workbench.
- Reorganised the lockers.
- Replaced the Food and Drink locker into a refrigerator.
- Added a GNR radio.
Future plans?
=============
- Not at the moment. It doesn't need to be a full player house, or have a history to it. It's for function only.
