Companions don't steal xp

Tired to shooting on a supermutant for a few minutes with your 10mm and see charon kill him with two shots and then you recieve no xp ?
With this mod when you hit only one time a npc , you recieve xp when he die ^^.
How this mod work ? In the vanilla version you must shoot an enemy at least 40% of his life , now it's 0% , but you must it him one time ^^.
