This home I created was just a idea I had while I was wondering around the wastes one day. I keep stumbling across interesting places that would be cool for hideouts only to find they are blocked off. That's just boring, so here is one of my first little hide outs I've created. It's located in a drain pipe just West of the 101 vault. Now, don't expect it to be furnished like a mansion. Its no Tenpenny suite. It's a pipe house. I built it with some realism in mind. For instance, most of the stuff in there I assume could be drug down that pipe and moved into place if this were real life. IE. The shelves, the cabinets, the bunk bed and the fridge. If it's down there, it looks like you could have with time and maybe some help from a companion moved it down there to use. No there is no NukaCola machine, no magic heal your rad poison medic bay. It's a place to put your junk and sleep near megaton. That’s it.

I left vault 101 shortly before it was sealed up again, just about 16 years ago. I wondered the wastes for a time, living here and there. Megaton was a bit too... crowded for my tastes, so when I stumbled upon this little pipe I knew I had a keeper. I've been living here for a while now. But my wife is tired of the DC area, the super mutants are a plague now and raiders are moving in on the over pass next door. Thick as flies on a brahmin's ass they are, I cant raise a family like this... so... I'm moving on, maybe somewhere down south where it’s a little warmer. Anyway, I've packed up my stuff. Hell, sold a lot of it, even my Vault101 armored jumpsuit. Boy you should have seen Moiras' eyes light up. Hah, anyway, bought a bramhin packed her up with what she could carry and I'm heading out.

If you find this pipe, you can have it. I left a few things in there, my sword, that old Chinese manual, and that stupid NukaCola clock my wife fauns over. So, that’s it then. Enjoy the place; watch out for the raiders... Oh and remember I might be back to visit, cuz hey it was my pipe 2...

So, there you have it. I have tested this mod for a good month. Changing things I see as problems and play testing it. It looks good, feels good and seems to fit into the world. I even made the pipe the length it is because when I copied and pasted the whole cell into the world space where the pipe door was it wouldn't fit under the ground right. With it the length now the underground level is situation so that it mirrors the damage above ground. The car is right where the over pass has collapsed. I believe the vault should be somewhere to the right and below where the floor is in the main hall. The car in the back was edited because the collision mesh was not allowing me to put items in the hood compartment. Seems Bethesda figured an invisible hood on burned out carhulks were OK... See, I like my game to be as immersive as possible. I'm suspending my disbelief enough for the wasteland with its radiated mutants. My mod should not make me suspend it even more. Therefore, I think it passes my high expectations and I'm passing it on to the greater community.

Some times the shadows on rubble wall next to the car will flicker. It’s a game issue I can't resolve. Believe me I’ve tried...
I've noticed that some times if you put mines in the grenade box the mines will not show up until you remove the grenades. Maybe a mod conflict on my end or maybe it’s the game. I don't know. Not a game stopper though.
Finally, the navmesh works but companions won't enter the cell. It's a geck bug. Rest for a few hours and they will usually just appear in the general area near you.
