This is my first mod and 3d model so be nice:)
You can find this weapon at Craterside Supply or buy it from weapon traders around the world.
M4a1 Beta
Features:
1.custom mesh
2.custom textures (NEED HELP WITH THIS, just PM me if you want to make custom textures)
3.custom sounds (Thanks to CrazyAce)
To do list:
1.Scoped variant(DONE)
2.Better sounds(DONE)
3.Some real textures
4.Npc armed with this rifle(maybe a new faction and quest)
5.balance it a little as for now these weapons are overpowering
6.Some size adjust of 3d model(DONE)
Know issues:
1.it seem that using 3d person view with this weapon makes the game crash for some reason (i dont know if i can fix that) *FIXED* (need feedback on this)
2.as for know you can repair this weapon with G3assault rifles only, until i figure out how to make custom repair list. *FIXED*
3. It can't be picked from the ground. (I really don't know why)
4.Need to be merged properly to hands(i will fix this in the next relase) *FIXED*
5.Silenced version dont have custom sd sounds
6.Guns are to shiny (just delete M4a1_n.dds and M4a1SD_n.dds From textures folder in your Fallout3/data folder for fix. *FIXED*
7.Textures are "ugly" :)
Installation:
Just extract to your Fallout3 directory

v0.5- Silenced variant of M4a1 added

- some broken faces on the model has been repaired
- New urban camo textures
v0.21 -You can now repair it with anonther M4a1
-You can now find the weapon in the Weapon locker at Craterside supply (both variants)
v0.2 - some mesh and specular updates(barrel sized down a bit for requests)
v0.1 - initial relase
