To install this mod, simply extract the archive to your "\Fallout 3\Data" folder. Let it overwrite if it wants to. Then activate "LiteChemWearoffFX.esp" in the Data Files section of your favorite Fallout 3 launcher, and start the game.

This mod is best used with a new game.

What it Does:

I hated the way chems would affect your vision after the chems wear off, or when withdrawal strikes.

If you have ever been killed because your Mentats wore off just as six Mutants closed in, and the sudden blur completely screwed up your shots... I have too, and I swore it would never happen again.

This mod tweaks the duration of that effect from six seconds to one. The result is a quick flash of light, rather than that huge blur of evil proportions.

DO NOT load this mod into a game that has chems currently active on the player. The game will crash once the chems wear off.

The same thing will happen if the player is addicted to anything when the mod is loaded.

There is no way around this that I am aware of, so please be careful.
