The sounds that the clickers make in the Last Of Us games are truly terrifying.
I wanted to recaptured that element of horror within this mod!
This mod changes the Feral Ghouls; Idle, Aware, Attack, Injury and Death sounds to be different clicker sounds
(more below on how this was done)
HOW TO INSTALL
Pretty simple use your manager of choice and install it through that. For manual installations place the .esp in your data folder and place the sound folder there as well!
Double check, if you used your manager, that in Data/Sound/FX the folder Clicker is there!
Make sure to Archive Invalidate as well if you have not done that before!
IF YOU HAVE INSTALLED THE OLDER MOD BEFORE COMPLETY UNINSTALL IT BEFORE INSTALLING THE NEW ONE!!
HOW THIS WAS DONE
I found this video that came with a google download full of clicker sounds. I used FL Studio to piece and cut up different sounds that would fit Idle, Aware, Attack, Injury and Death. Each sound was then exported then put through audacity to set to the stereo .wav files to be mono. (This was an issue with the first release the .wav files were stereo)
WHATS NEXT
1 - I will start making this mods for new Vegas (I made a promise that I will so I guess I got to keep to it) Now I know how to make this mod this shouldn't be to difficult.
2 - I might add an extra file to this mod that will change the Feral Ghoul Reavers to have the same sounds the Bloaters do BUT this will be an optional download.
I think this might be quite cool as I have the sounds.
3 - I also have sounds from stalkers AND runners from The Last Of Us and might also make extra mods to make the sounds of the Ferals change to those so you can pick and choose what you want!
